Counting in Kwak'wala Husa. Book 1 of 4

Counting in Kwal'wala - HUSA children love learning to count in one of local languages. The salmon cards came from a math activity in the Aboriginal PALS program. The Kwak'wala words and recordings came from the program First Voices.
This series of four books were part of Kwak'wala language learning lessons with Puntledge's participation in SD71, Comox Valley Schools, Ni'noxsola, Knowledge Keeper (Elder in Residence) program. Our Ni'noxsola, Knowledge Keeper, David Dawson and the kindergarten/grade one students enjoyed language games and creating these e-books.
