This is so excellent, both the actual music, and the way we get to see it being made. I could watch hours and hours of this stuff, only my face would start hurting from smiling so hard. Keep it up!!

I've probably commented before. But I completely love this. And listen every time I need to be happy. That's real music that can bring out emotion.

MIDITRIBE I/O is a direct plug into the monotribe PCB and adds midi in/out. The pcb also has solder points to add outputs for the three drums as well as decay to each one. Outside of adding mounting holes to the case, they are painless mods that add some powerful sound/functionality to the drums.

There are a lot of "home jam" electronic/synthy videos on youtube, most of them pretty lame to be honest, but this sounds really nice. I think one of the things that makes it work is that you have to wait and wait for the chord/bass/arpeggio to return to the root (I) note. It has this lovely plinky arpeggio with the bass going up and down but you have to wait, and when it returns to the root, which is not often, it's lovely.

@TheKaniq94 MIDI was for everything but the monotribe, which was in sync with the monomachine by audio impulse. :)

Beautiful! That little Monotribe is capabel of many things. I HIGHLY recomend you doing the midi IN mod.. Search for "gameboygenius". Not hard at all! Soo worth ruining the warranty. Amazing song!

@TheSecretSilencer Last time i checked sync only carries BPM-sync, and not note-data or any other controller-data. So despite your claim that it's easy to translate sync to MIDI, i fail to see how it's helpful seeing as there's no patchbay on the Monotribe. And save for fully modular systems i'm yet to come across anything built the last 20+ years that has a similar sync, everything's MIDI and/or CV/gate. These guys had to WORK for sync! We cant all live 30+ years in the past, so come on man
