Countries Rank by Obesity Rate 2020 - World's Most Overweight Countries

Obesity can be a serious problem and some countries have a bigger obese population than others. The most obese countries include the Cook Islands and Nauru in the top spots followed by developed countries like the United States and New Zealand. This world's most overweight countries list can be quiet surprising for you.
The most obese countries in the world are not necessarily the richest or the most developed ones. The U.S. and the UK, which are ranked 12th and 36th, respectively, indicate there is no direct relationship between obesity and a country’s economic status. Countries with smaller economies, such as the Marshall Islands, Samoa, Palau, and Nauru have made it to the top 10.
The video shows the percentage of obese adults of the total population of the country. The most obese continent is North America followed by Oceania, Europe, South America, Africa and Asia.
