When Brad Paisley first hit Nashville he had a standing gig down on Broadway. Played bass/flattop on some of his very first demos. We'd sit and do this for an hour before we started the session. This guy reminds me alot of BP. BP could play for an hour straight and never repeat himself. This guy doesn't either.

Yeah, the guitar and pickups are handmade by my dad, check out his page “HC Guitars” he is an amazing luthier and ships them everywhere! And you’re right, it’s a P90 on the neck and a tele pickup on the bridge.

Just saw this again. This is a great tempo to practice improvisation. It gives you just enough time to think about where to go next and make transitions smoother. I hope you post this backing track sometime. It works great at x1.25 speed too :D
