Great insight Have had my head in mixing major/ minor 3rds, harmonising double stops and country bends with double stops. Great to see you just play it and don’t explain too much. Seriously nice twang from your Tele too, A vid on your custom teles would also be interesting . Thanks , cool stuff

As soon as you added passing chords up the neck I instantly heard the Beatles "... though she was born a long long time ago," - and back down "... your mother should know ..." etc. And I'm also hearing some Marvin Gaye with this. Point being that this is super versatile, not just country. And it's free ! LoL ! Thanks Matheus !

Another amazing lesson here. I notice u often end with these fast licks that end on a low string. like the lick on 05:28. Maybe u could show us some of these ideas in the future, sounds like there are allot of open strings and chromatic notes in these ending licks. I have no idea how to play any of this or the theory behind it. Thanks for the great content!

Thanks again Matheus. Your instructional videos really help me put it all together. Keep up the good work! One thing I do want to point out. I know you really like that guitar (I believe its made by your father) but it's hard to see the strings against that type of neck. You may want to use a different guitar for instructional videos that has just a plain maple neck so the strings are more visible. Anyway, great job! You're awesome!

Wow, Matheus. (3:46) I practice that same scale, but I've not heard anyone put in those percussive bass notes before. Maybe i just didn't hear it with the whole band playing. But it sounds awesome with you playing by yourself. That's something I'ma gonna hafta master! I'll start doing it today! 👍 👌 (Later) I tried that "percussive" thing, can't do it nearly like you. I'll continue to try... but it's nowhere near like you do it! Gawd! (End) That was a good collection of licks. Some I knew, but you added a nice flair to them. I'm still not nearly as fast. But... Thanks!

I was wondering on your right hand for your picking technique if you use your fingers only, or grow your middle and ring fingernails long or use press on nails? The reason I asked is just using my fingers with no nails just flesh it hurts like hell and can only do the hybrid picking for a little bit till I have to stop.
@matheuscanteri
@matheuscanteri 11 ай бұрын
@@wendelllatimer4146 I do use my natural nails on my ring and middle fingers, they’re not very long, so I still use a bit of flesh I guess and I do remember it hurting when I first started until I had some calluses haha
