BYU Mountain Strings loves to travel the world, but they are always happy to be back home playing for their fans here in the USA. Country Roads is a well known song all around the world. This past summer, the BYU Mountain Strings band got to travel on a Summer tour to Belgium, France, Poland, and Amsterdam. While there they filmed this music video.

It was a truly delightful rendition of the classic country/western song. If you are looking for western, it is perfect with very open vocal sounds from well trained singers. If you are looking for country, it would have required a bit more tightness in the vocals along with a hint of nasal. Every artist has to perform it according to their taste and abilities. You did a good job of interpreting it to fit your vocal strengths.

I love this cover, you made it sound like your own but kept the feel of the original version intact? I love the harmonizing here. Takes me back 45 years ago where I'm sitting at the kitchen table of my neighbor named Lola. She was like a grandmother to me.
