Glenda that is beautiful!!! You are so talented!! I like and use your method of chain 2 when you fasten off, because it allows for a good knot but best of all it still gives the last worked stitch a normal looking stitch.... I wish you would make an American Flag Afghan so I have a tutorial to go by.

I LOVE this afghan. But my hands and fingers aren’t mobile enough for this EXACT pattern. I’m using Lions Brand Comfy Cotton Blend with a 6 mm hook. I think my smaller clusters look better (haven’t gotten to the big clusters yet). Your clusters seem so uniform and neat and mine look a chunky mishmash. Big major point I found using CCB yarn…start with a solid color. It helped set off the multi color yarns. Not sure if I’ll be able to do that two strand yarn where you trade back and forth. I had to watch that segment several times to get the pattern in my head. Thank you so much for teaching me a new pattern, going slow, explaining each step and walking us through the rest of row. I hope when I get my first block done I can send you a picture.

I don't have the jeans yarn so I used rhss in light blue, royal and heathered grey with a 5.5mm hook to try this block and it turned out gorgeous! But that last round is a doozy for me. It's so pretty though. I gotta decide if I really want to tangle with murphy 41 more times. 😊
