I just wanted you to know I’m still using your old canning videos! I whipped up 17 pints of Christmas jam a few days ago. I did break the rules a little bit and did double patches. Once even three batches at a time. 🙈 I’m happy to report it all set! It’s so good family is already asking for jars. Carrot cake jam is next!

Hi Heather I just love listening to you. I really like buckwheat pancakes and yes to blueberries. I wish I had a neat store like you went to. When visiting our daughter in Kentucky she took us to a Amish grocery store. I had such fun.. thank you for all you do for people. The cooking videos and stuff to buy. I'm bulk food person. I believe in food storage and a 72 hour emergency food layout. Best thing for Chronic pain is massive water drinking, I'm a wounded veteran with chronic pain and agent orange. 5 quarts per 24 hours.

We call those beans chickpeas in Britain. I like them in most things, stew salads, hummus, and roasted they're really versatile.

just was there in july and bought the lasagna bites for the viral lasagna soup and chicken noodle soup..they are my favorite. i like the sanding sugar on my scottish shortbread cookies for the holidays gives them a nice shimmery look..luv the superb jars cant wait to see what you make..thx marie from canada

@TheKneadyHomesteader yes very easy.. 2 cups/1 pound butter softened 1 cup fine white sugar 1 cup rice flour 3 cups all purpose flour Dragees, Sprinkles and sanding sugar-optional Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Combine the butter and sugar til well combined add the rice flour and mix well..add the all purpose flour 1 cup at a time kneady well til combined. Press into an ungreased jelly roll pan press flat then prick with a fork to make about 1inch squares up and down the pan. Place a dragee in each square. Sprinkle with colored sugars and sprinkles if desired. Bake for 40 to 60 minutes or til light golden. Remove from oven cool about 5 minutes then score with a knife the lines to form the squares let cool..store in a metal cookie tin. Makes about 9 dozen..**rice flour I buy at bulk food stores much cheaper..enjoy marie

This is off topic of your video, but I went Thanksgiving shopping this morning and one of the items was brown sugar. I tell you the bag was rock solid, so I did a quick search for your recipe from 8 years ago, and only needed to pickup a bottle of “grandmas molasses”. Making it now and it delicious! Blackstrap was next to it for $.5 more and I’ve heard of it, but didn’t want to ruin my 8cups of sugar. Would you recommend blackstrap, and if it has a similar or different taste than just regular ole’ molasses?

Are’ you using half gallon jars for storage, if so Walmart has their own brand of jars and the 1/2 gal jars are $11.47. Sure beats $16 plus for Ball jars.

I have a huge box of them that were prescription. They are pretty old so I don’t know if they are any good. My pain management doctor ordered me some but they were out of stock (back when it was difficult to get some medicines and even had to get my pain medication changed because I couldn’t get what I had been on) due to pharmaceutical manufacturers getting their supplies from the Ukraine. So when they changed my pain medication I am getting more pain relief. I had been on the other medication so long my body was used to it
