Never heard of this but the practice of accusing black men of sexual assault was common and still is common unfortunately hardly nothing changed .

Which is precisely why reparations are in order, you can't convict anyone for their skin color, or a lying witness points their finger at a randon black person! This is why there are record breaking exonorations every day! This year there's likely to be more exonorations than there are days in a calendar year and it's due to false convictions from malicious prosecution, false arrest and police reports, prosecutors withholding and omitting evidence that exonorates innocent people, prosecutors committing subornation of perjury, judges accepting kickback money to falsely sentence innocent people to astronomical sentences! This is why reparations are in order!

This is just one case in many where innocent black men were falsely accused and convicted of crimes throughout history. I wonder how many more cases there are where an innocent black person was sentenced to death for lesser crimes.

This is sad. I hoped these boys grew up to be men and lived a recovered life. That's difficult to say and think.

August 31, 2021, Governor Ralph Northam posthumously pardoned all seven men. In a news release, Northam said the pardons were not about whether the men were guilty, but it was "recognition from the Commonwealth" that the men did not receive adequate due process. He further stated, "We all deserve a criminal justice system that is fair, equal, and gets it right-no matter who you are or what you look like. While we can't change the past, I hope today's action brings them some small measure of peace."

I as well, have never known of this Story, Great Content, Commentary, and Historical Delve into hidden Injustice Mr. One Mic. This story you Report on gives a ( Severe Optic View of how many of, People of Color and other Cultures ) have much to be Thankful for with the Pioneer's of Civil Rights. Many of the Pioneer's were in fact People of Color, however, there were many Ground Breaking Contributions from People of Non-Melonated Decent who were Extremely Instrumental as well regarding this much needed movement which proceeded in year's to come after this Time Line. Epic Even Keel Agenda in your Attention to Detail involving the ( Intricate Fact's of this Horrible Story ). I Applaud your Valiant Effort and Hard Work in Reviving a much needed Element of concern Involving Spiritual Righteousness we should all Carry and Appreciate. Thank you Sir for your Massive Contribution to Awareness of Standing for Justice, even Under Systemic Duress. Major Salute to You Mr. One Mic.
