Looks like 5" to me. A little too wide for 4". Edit: Orbital sander about 5", so my guess is probably correct.

yes just regular 3/8" BCX plywood from Menards.

Are you using a Brad bailer or finish nailer to fasten to the walls?

18 ga. brad nailer with either 1 3/4" or 2" nails. I don't remember for sure. You don't want them too long where you could accidentally shoot a nail into an electrical wire.

Thanks for the reply. I get confused at times between using Brad and finish nailers. My background is rough carpentry so we use framing nailers for everything lol
