Recipe: 1. Grill aubergine 🍆/ eggplant until skin is blackened and flesh is soft, 2. Put in cold water and peel the skin off. 3. Chop the flesh finely. 4. In a pan, heat oil. Add mustard seeds, chopped onions and sliced chills and curry leaves. Keep on stirring and then add aubergine 🍆 flesh. 5. Chilli 🌶 powder ( not curry powder) and salt to taste.

kouki laameche Chilli 🌶 is vegetable. There are different types of chillis ranging in spiciness, colours, sizes. Chilli can be fresh, dried and in powdered form. Curry is a spicy dish which contains chilli as one ingredient. We have chicken, fish, lamb, mutton and even vegetable curries. Not to be confused with chilli or given its full name chilli concarne. That is a very unique Western concept. I think so called because the dish contains fresh chilli and chill powder. Hope this helps.
