True words! She lived a tough life but still you could see the gentleness in her eyes. You could also see that she was strong-willed and didn't take crap from anyone. It seems like she knew her worth which many people today unfortunately don't. A lot is to learn from her legacy, not only from her amazing cooking skills.

The difference between this old nice lady and the people who dislike this video is abysmal. The dislikers of this video are those who make this world a poopy place, and this lady is what makes this world a nice place to live in!

I'm a chef but I'm always delighted and fascinated by village cooks who's been preparing it with minimal technology compared to the restaurants we work in. The culture, the history, the passion, the art... I'm out of words. I love village cooks so much that it gives me a view of how people are preparing it in the past.

I only recently found your channel and have become an instant subscriber 😊 Yesterday was my first ever attempt at making Samosas. Being Middle Eastern and surrounded by Indian and Pakistani friends, I was already very familiar with the filling and taste. However, this video proved so helpful because the method of making the filling, though similar ingredients, yielded a different smell and taste. My friend came home saying, “It smells really good in here.” And all I had done so far was have the seeds frying in oil with ginger and garlic. But I must say, the smell was very aromatic. I thought making the dough would be tricky because I had an Indian man tell me it’s very hard to do. But after seeing Grandma and how she scooped her flour with no specific measurements, I was confident I could do the same. I even had my friend make an extra trip to the market to buy me some ajwain seeds. I must say, I’m glad I did because it makes a world of difference in taste. Never have I had Samosas like this. It’s so delicious. Every year on Eid the masjid orders a large batch of these Samosas to hand out. And for three years straight I would miss the chance to grab one because they would be out of them. I will never have that problem again because now I know how to make them myself and they taste 100 times better than any other samosa I’ve ever had! I even served it on a platter over a banana leaf from our garden ☝️😄 I woke up with my stomach rumbling this morning and the first thing I grabbed was one of my Samosas from yesterday. I swear they’re even more delicious the next day. I’m excited to use up the rest of my dough and make some for my neighbors 🤗 By the way, what is the name of the hot sauce you are using to douse the Samosas in? It looks very familiar but I don’t know the name and would like to try and find it for next time. Jazakallahu Khairan for the recipe ❤️❤️❤️

Most Americans would not know what to do if the entire power grid went down. I know one thing for sure... My family would still be nicely fed just like yours. The over 2,000 people who disliked this video would be the idiots begging us for food in the event of an emergency lol.
