I can’t imagine going through the process of making that box. is there any reason why I couldn’t just get a sturdy beautiful box and then cut my file folders to fit the box? That would save me about 50 steps. just wondering😀

Hello! New subscriber, here. Dawn (The Book Vandal Shop) featured you on her Feature Friday segment. I am always excited for these Features because she finds some of the most creative people on KZbin. I love this project! I am certainly going to have to make one of these boxes because I am like you in the respect that I have to SEE what ephemera I have, be reminded about it to use it (most of the time, anyway). This is perfect. Thank you for the tutorial and for sharing all the tips. Very cool! Take care! (I might have to binge watch your videos -- LOL)

7:46 when you’ve made your indentations, you’ll find a lot more ease if you fold in the opposite direction than how you scored them. IE, fold away from the indent. Mountains become valleys. This is because you’ve stretched the top layer of paper more with the pressing of your score tool. It folds more gracefully if you were to fold the exact opposite from your demonstration. Additionally, you won’t have to finagle and move things around to make them match better if your creasing with the tool looks accurate. PS subscribed! Found you as a suggestion. ❤

Very interesting for the little envelopes but honestly what I was most interested in was the way to make the box! I am like you, I need to be able to see it. I moved all my ephemera into little three ring binders, put them on my bookcase, and I haven't opened them once since I did that. However, the box is a great idea to sit on my table when I'm working and then move back to the bookshelf when I'm done. And you could make all kinds of boxes for different supplies. Great ideas!

Love this! Just found you on my own, so it's great that word is getting out. Like you I'm visually oriented, and have needed to get serious about organizing my ephemera. I found a great solid wood shelf unit on the curbside, and need to fit things onto fairly narrow and somewhat short shelves. Not only are your gusseted file folders great, but I can custom fit them and their storage boxes to fit my shelves. Big win for me! Big thanks to all of you guys who figure out how to make things, iron out the wrinkles, then make videos to share with the rest of us. And special thanks for clear, easy to follow instructions. Happy new subscriber here!

Love this idea. I recently made a journal with these accordion files on it that I saw from someone else. I love this idea and I'm going to use it thank you for sharing. But you made a comment about measure twice cut once and it made me remember famous words of Bob Ross there are no mistakes just happy accidents. Love the scrap messes personally because while doing my journal I made many mistakes while trying to figure out how to do it and I ended up then using the scrap pieces that I cut off of backgrounds to put on top of the storage boxes I made and put flare. Anyway thank you for sharing and thank you for making the comment about taking hours to prepare to do the video not to mention the hours to edit upload and put the video for all of us to share. I did streaming for video gaming and I I know how much time goes into prepare for not only the craft but then all the other work that you do behind the scenes for a simple half hour or an hour video. So thank you for sharing your time, your passion, and you with us
