The reason the bridge ices before the road is the cold air is on top and underneath. The road has the warm earth under it. It has to get somewhat colder to freeze the ground.

I stay far away from our malls in Seattle area, the ones still in business…they have been over run with gang shootings, flash mob looting, and act as hang outs for young teen thugs…sad sad times. Make America Safe Again

Donfeel bad about the bridge ices sign. My daughter in law grew up in SOUTH south Texas. She moved to Kansas when she was in her twenties and couldn't figure out what the weatherman was talking about when they said ' ice accumulations up to 1/2 inch'. She finally asked her neighbors what he was talking about.😊

Yes, I grew up within walking distance of the mall. Where I didn’t have to cross any busy roads, so I could walk to the mall pretty young. Now all the malls in my area are used for inside walking routes. Our mall officially closed bc of COVID. Everyone started shopping online & stopped shopping brick & mortar. We still have open small strip malls with Target, 5 below & those things.

We have the Mall Of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota it is usually packed it has roller Costers and many other rides.I haven't gone for awhile because it is so packed and loud it has many levels and restaurants..

Yes it's very nostalgic indeed. We teenagers always gathered at ""The Mall"". Either YMCA or The Mall. I would sit on a bench for hours just watching all kinds of people meandering by. Thanks for the remembering. Me southern AZ.

What a great store to shop for Halloween 🎃 In Australia, we might have 3 shelves about 3 wide in super market. Yes we had malls, still have, though they are certainly busy than the one you went to. 😊

Nice costume Wyatt In the 80s I worked in a mall for over a year at a Macy's store. The parking lot would be full As an employee I had to park at the outer edge of the lot and walk over 2000 ft . Not fun in the winter. I agree so sad to see them go.

I used to love going to the mall, but I just don't any more. Probably an age thing. 😂 My cats love catnip. You could buy some seeds & plant some around your yard. They'll roll around in it, & eat on it, of course. It'll die back in the winter, but will come back up in different spots in the spring. I always plant a pot for inside during the winter, so they can have it year-round. You could also cut it back before it freezes & hang bundles in your greenhouse to dry to give to your cats during the winter. Save a little money in the long run.

Just heard that movie places i.e. AMC theaters etc will be adding family friendly activities i.e. bowling alley, arcade etc to their building. This the mall is coming back but in a new form. P.S. malls have about 20 years cycles

I use to enjoy in store shopping..when you get old as Methuselah….👵🏼 and survive a stroke but have bad arthritis…shopping by store pickup lanes happens plus Amazon delivery😊😊…I already had a way too big closet and don’t need anymore ….I actually spend way less than when I was younger so not as tempted to buy while strolling through the aisles!!! Never thought I would be satisfied with confounded computer shopping but for now it helps!!!❤❤

We have a large shopping centre here in Liverpool England, I would rather see the clothes I am buying but sadly most of the little stuff like garden tools, tools, paint etc it's cheaper to buy from eBay. We also have large supermarkets like Aldi, Tesco, Asda and so on but unfortunately it's a fact of life that online shopping is here to stay. 🥰🤩

cant do it. Cause most places online dont accept food stamps. Like hello fresh, factor, and other small businesses in the US. I do order online but its amazon fresh or walmart. I cant do grocery stores cause my back is all messed up with degenerative disc disease. And unable to sit in a chair. I cant stand longer than 30 mins.

We had two malls in our city. I knew our city couldn’t support 2 big malls. Eventually the 2 mall never too off and eventually closed. The 1 mall was sold and the new owners brought more restaurants. It still manages to get customers but a lot of the smaller business went out of business even Foleys. It does get crowded during the Christmas season. But I haven’t been there in 12 years.

What fun going to the mall! I haven't been in years, most of them out here close to me are closed. Have been for years. Now out here we have what they call "Strip Malls". Course now, it's just not that safe anymore! That's so sad. There is so much retail thief is going on, it isn't just the stores. People break into your car & steal that or what they can find inside. So knowing all this, yeah, I'm just gonna order it.

Here in Casa Grande Arizona we've had 2 different strip malls close down. Small businesses being shut down because of Walmart. Target, Kmart Sam's club closed.

Well, that was a jam packed video and I enjoyed every bit of it! Our Mall is still very busy here in West Virginia. Our bridge signs say "watch for ice on bridge". Roxanne, you look lovely in a dress and those pickled eggs will have Anthony and the boys fighting over who gets the last one. We still have a mall in our small town, but not very many stores left in it. It's sad. Malls used to be the happening place to go. Our mall used to have car shows, boat shows and such. This is odd. They are in the process of tearing down our mall now. It opened in 1966. Never will forget the Santa’s I watched arrive there over the years. Even took my boys to see him arrive. Malls are definitely something of the past

It’s so sad that the malls are closing. The one here in Macon has mostly closed. A lot of the stores moved to the outdoor shopping centers but I prefer the indoor malls, especially at Christmas.

I live in Columbia Maryland and our mall is Columbia Mall. It is always crowded, especially the food court. Lol Our major department stores are JC Penny, Macy’s, and Nordstrom’s. I pray that it never closes because I refuse to order/purchase clothes and shoes on line. If I can’t try it on first I won’t purchase it.

Most of the malls around KC area have all closed up. They were so trashed they had no choice. Sad........ I order everything on line except groceries. I do that in stores.
