I have always been in love with country music and this man's voice. He can sit down on a stool and a musician nowhere in the place and sing a song that will just blow you away. Singers now can sit down to sing one of their recorded songs and no music and it sounds like a bunch of chickens and geese just got turned out for the day. Singers this day and time are just making records out if computer generated sounds and their real talent is not even comparable to the singers of Gene's time.

Gene is truly one of the best voices in country music and this is real country music. Jimmie Capps deserves a lot of credit as well. One of the best dang pickers.. I was in awe of Jimmie when I stood on the stage as the curtain went up at the Opry and Jimmie was playing guitar.. Something that I will never forget..and Jimmies wife singing back up.. This just ties it all together... Amazing,
