Making our way back to Canada!!

We are a large family that believes in traditional values. We normally raise all of our own food and try to live a life of self-sufficiency. Recently, we sold everything we owned and made some drastic changes. These changes included traveling in a motorhome through the states for 4 mths. Now, we are ready to get on a plane and start a new life across the Atlantic Ocean. We plan to find a new place to homestead and raise our family in a conservative Christian way.

I look forward to seeing some from that area of the world .i lived in Belize for 10 years traveled threw central and south America. twice to Western Europe . Almost moved to the Scottish islands. And still am looking for a land were one can live with out government intervention

Not likely to find any place with zero intervention unless you move way out of the way and mind your own. Best we can hope for is a government that shares our views

Very good thoughts. I believe that too, but I also believe one is allowed to flee from persecution and find a safer place to live.

I agree look at the Mennonites who stayed in Russia most were no more after the communist took over. The ones who moved out are still going.

I don’t know about US being the best I always think it’s unique. It’s like each state is a different country within the country. There’s plenty of very conservative churches here in our country..that’s what our area mostly has. South of Chicago is conservative areas. But anyways, you’re right, if you don’t go & see for yourself you never know. Hope you find what you’re looking for God speed.

There are conservative churches yes bit the society as a whole is moving more and more liberal, farther from its traditional roots.

@@countrysideacreshomestead2008 not really..it just seems that way if you listen to news & certain people. But we are free here to worship as you please, vote as you please, etc..just like you said, you have to really live somewhere to truly know. I live in Illinois, where people are saying it’s so bad, but we make way under 6 figure income, have paid off our home, twice, going into retirement debt free..if just depends on you & the area you live..we have mostly catholic, Lutheran,Baptist, reformed, a few non denominational, but none of them are liberal..none..but any ways, you’re doing what’s best for you & your family..we have lived here since birth & our roots are deep..society as a whole everywhere is disintegrating just as the Bible says..stay strong
