I made something similar. I used white zip ties to secure the netting to to the PVC frame. I didnt make it foldable like yours - but it doesnt miss a shell. Looks kinda like a small soccer goal

Great Idea. Id use a hot utility knife, etc to cut the netting. It will melt the edges and prevent unravel/frays.

Made one of these yesterday. Many people asked for dimensions, well here is what I used. I suggested a 2 ft pipe because I used a few scraps that you might not have. 1 - 10 Ft CPVC 1/2 inch pipe 1 - 2 Ft CPVC 1/2 inch pipe 8 - 1/2 CPVC 90-degree couplers 5 - 1/2 CPVC Tee couplers The parts needed and the lengths 2 - 19 3/8 inch long pipes 4 - 1 1/4 inch long pipes 3 - 12 inch long pipes 4 - 8 1/4 inch long pipes 2 - 5 1/2 inch long pipes.

How high off a bench/shooting table does the tripod hold the catcher.. Looking for a cheap tripod

Just a guess, but if you cut down the middle of the front it might allow a little give. That should eliminate brass springing out of your catcher.

I was thinking there should be a way to connect the bottom of your brass catcher to an ammo can and then all the brass would fall into the can

I just built this. Between the cost of PVC parts including cement and the laundry bag, $44. Small can of cement alone, $8. The Caldwell Brass Catcher on MidwayUSA is $45 plus shipping.
