God that split window is gorgeous! I wouldn't have thought that color interior would look that good with a black cherry paint but it looks perfect! To me that is one of the sweetest rides you guys have ever done! That paint job makes it stand out but it doesn't look too crazy. If the guy ever wanted to sell it he certainly would have no problem selling it cause that black cherry stands out but not to the point where it looks too specialized to a single person.

I know a guy here in New Hampshire that is crazy about these VW buses also, he has a few of them. My favorite is the 63 Split Window Coup, i love that car, always did and always will. A word on the buss, she did come out beautiful as you said. I am still looking for a nice 1965 Ford Thunderbird, to me, that was a car of pure Luxury back then. Just love them if they are done right and the engine is good. I know there were many problems with the 390 engines then, i had one in a 67 Ford Galaxie many years ago, the lifters went on them all the time.

That gas tank looks like one I saw made on TV on one of the Biker Build off episodes! Whoever made it made the shape on the sides out of tubing or round bar and welded it solid to the tank and then pounded it in to make the concave area! I wish I could remember who made it but I just remember it being made!
