County School Railway 1998

This film shows the Mid Norfolk Railway take ownership of this lovely station on the Northern section six miles from Dereham. We also see Paul Young and Richard Cullen walk the section from County School to Dereham, the line was quite overgrown then, things have certainly moved on since this film was made!!

+LNER84GY "Pony" went to Chatham Docks, "Edmundsons" went to Rushden museum, "12" was painted up as a BR loco and is on static display at a disused station in, I think, Yorkshire. The powered crane was scrapped as someone told the new owner that the base was solid metal (rather than concrete). The diesels went to Hardingham (although some are now sold/on lease). 20069 went to Dereham. 20206 was scrapped due to poor condition after delays to her restoration resulting from squabbling over ownership.
