I may be wrong, but I think the HIGHEST note recorded by Freddie is in the song: “Under Pressure” (The studio recording) Partway through the song (SORRY, I didn’t look up the timestamp) …there’s a note where Freddie slides higher AND higher AND HIGHER…. until I think most listeners DON’T realize they’re still hearing Freddie’s human voice, instead of a synthesized sound effect! (I don’t know my music note scales well enough to say what the note is, I’d probably get it wrong. You can easily find the info on the internet, though… Just search for: Under Pressure Freddie’s high note)

In "Under Pressure" he sings up to an A5, he sang even higher notes on other songs. In the song "It's Late" he shouts an E6. He screamed even higher notes on live versions of the song "Get Down Make Love", but those were not controlled notes. Someone made a Freddie Mercury 4 octave note range compilation from F2-F6: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZivnoyXh7Wlfac

he sang higher in this video. He sang as high here as Roger's note in Bohemian Rhapsody, it is a Bb5 note.

I always considered Freddie one of the best "skatters" in rock (along side Steven Tyler), he just doesn't do it very often. About who sings highest, Freddie and Roger seesawed. In the 70s, Roger was definitely higher, but he lost his falsetto as he got older. Freddie had to alter his vocal techniques as time went on, due to damage to his vocal cords, so by the 80s he was using his 'head' voice much more. This meant he was now higher than Roger. It'll be interesting to hear the comparison of 70s Roger to 80s Freddie.

I have seen Tyler live, i love Aerosmith, Back in the saddle and King's and queens screams are insanely good, and ya Dream On, of course. But very good idea actually!

@@CelcaReact Queen and Aerosmith actually met, when they were both support acts for 'Mott the Hooples' 74 USA tour . They got into a fight over who should go on first or second. Brian and Joe Perry made up over a bottle of JD. Can you imagine Freddie and Steven Tyler going toe to toe?
