The worst teacher I ever had was in 6th grade. It was so bad that I often had panick attacks during class. She used to be in the army so she treated us like we were in bootcamp. We had to yell our answers to her. She would often have open discussions during the last 30mins of class and call on random people to point out flaws of a selected few. I was often apart of that selected few. She even had "special helpers" who ran the classroom and had permission to write people up. By the end of the school year my confidence was completely gone.

Seventh grade. Me and my class were waiting for our English teacher in the morning who was running a little late. Other classes were already in session, and some classmates of mine were talking a little too loud to be fair. Anyway, as they were talking a little too loud, a teacher next door came out, randomly picked me out out of 30 kids and she asked,"HEY, DO YOU WANT TO LIVE TIL YOUR NEXT BIRTHDAY?!" I asked,"did you just threaten me?" She said yeah, so I squared up, walked up to her, and said excuse me one more time. She then said,"it's only a joke I tell my students to get them in line and work". Long story short, she's fired last I heard. Moral of the story: threaten me, I'll threaten you back. Period. Square up or sit back down. No matter who you are.

@@ToxicOxieIf it is really ,,common" for teachers to be attacked by parents just because they may have mistreated their child then you should worry about our society. They should have went to the principal instead of looking for an empty room where the mother could beat the teacher senseless. The mother could have gotten charged for assault at the very least. If the second part of that guys comment really is true (which I seriously doubt) then his mother should get some help and you as well if you really think that what she did was right.

The teacher my Autistic 11yr old son had at the beginning of this school year ( 2016-2017) punished him for a medical condition he has by sending him home or belittling him, didn't allow him to participate in group activities/assignments ( including recess and movie watching), argued with him over whether he was allowed to eat breakfast and made him sit in a corner on the total opposite side of class facing the wall for the whole 6 hours he was in school. When I found out about this I removed him from school and enrolled him into a Virtual School. When I called the district and told them about the teacher they said that the teacher has been a special education teacher for over 20yrs and my son must have been misbehaving. My son was so scared to go to school that he would throw up on the bus in the morning.

I had a bad teacher in 4th grade, the teacher wouldn't talk to us/class at all, she wouldn't even let us go to the bathroom, she keeps telling everyone to shut up whenever they talk in class, not to mention the school got a lot of complaints from her, thank God she retired for half of the year not to mention when my dad was in a conference meeting with the teacher, she made up lies saying I been doing bad things in class and insulting me saying I'm one of the three Scrooges, my dad didn't believe her, my dad told my mom wen the got home, pissed, and he told my Mom(they weren't mad at me) which is why they complained towards the school about my teacher

I honestly hate all my history teachers I had in middle school the one in 6th grade was really rude to all students she grabbed one of my old friends hoodie and yanked her across the hallway because she forgot her binder in the locker and she didn't even have her 1st period, last year (7th grade) she was also rude to students we have special ed students in our classes with us which I really like and one of them has mental break downs during class some times and so while one time he had a mental breakdown in her class and she rolled her eyes and said what is it now then this year my history teacher it's already the third week and I'm sick of her tbh she asked "Would you let another race family in your home to eat dinner" and was surprised when we said yea we would and stuff like that

In my middle school there was a teacher and a female student i knew who were.... they were inappropriately close. Which sucks because the year prior he was my favorite teacher, he also had a wife and daughter. It was never clear how deep this relationship was but, the things they said to each other and how they acted with one another was deeply disturbing. I can't count how many times she would wear shorts and (I shit you not) fishnets and would sit provocatively on his desk. I had a physics teacher this year who was the worst. All of his class averages were in the C-F range. No A's or B's. He let someone grade papers for the whole year and that person had a 100 average the whole year. He's purposely skip parts of the notes and say "don't worry you don't need that" and IT WOULD BE ON THE TEST. I've never had a teacher I could say I actually hated except him. Wow, and I thought I had a bad teacher lol, but I guess mine was at least comparable to the one that told the kids santa isn't real. I remember how when I was like 8 my teacher made us write a fairy story and then gave us the homework to draw a cover picture for it. I was pretty proud of my drawing skills back then, all my peers always praised me for it, it was just my thing and one of my few talents and it gave me at least a little confidence since I was a rather shy girl, so I loved this homework. I spent an entire day and the entire following evening drawing this picture, I was extremely happy with it when it was done, I asked my parents (who never overly praised my pictures if they didn't find them good and always gave me tips how to improve) how they liked it and they loved it. The entire night I couldn't sleep because I was so excited to finally show the picture to my teacher, and the next morning I couldn't get out of bed fast enough. When I was finally in school and the teacher asked us for our pictures, I proudly got up and stood in line with all the other students to show it to her, I was literally shaking with excitement because I was sure she would love the picture too. She praised every single one, gave a little criticism here and there, but was overall happy. Then she saw mine, looked at it with a really disgusted expression and said something like "What kind of rubbish is that? I can't believe some of you are brave enough to show me something like this" and showed it to the entire class as an example of how not to do it. Worst school day of my life back then lol (Back then I thought my picture was bad, but years later I realized that this teacher actually really didn't like me at all for some reason)

When I was little I had a music teacher who was 'close' to the girls in the class. He had the girls scoot up and guys scoot back. Whenever he called kids up it was mostly girls. Later on we got letters home saying that he was a sexual offender and a girl at my school (I think 2 girls that were also friends with my friend) were sexual offended by him. There are 2 stories on what happened cause we don't honestly know since no one told us. 1- He asked the girl(s) to stay after class to help him "clean up" 2- he went to the girls home by following them. Parents were interviewed and my dad was on the news being asked if he noticed anything.

I'm in 7th grade. I'll be going to 8th grade in the Fall. My 7th grade reading teacher would yell and try to send me to detention if I QUIETLY asked for a pencil!!!!! But, when the Principal or parents or teachers were around, she acted all nice and stuff. My art teacher, likes to grab her students by their shirts if they were doing something she did not like. My own teacher story happened when I was in 2nd grade. I have always been a very emotional person, and of course, people expect younger children to cry more. I don't know what this teacher, Mrs. Stribosch, had against me. She was strict right from the beginning, which isn't inherently bad but she was not averse to embarrassing any of us in front of the class. So when she was harsh with me I would invariably end up crying, or if another kid was mean to me, whatever the case. Whenever I would end up crying in class, if she noticed she would make me stand up at my desk and say to the whole class, "I want all of you to look at Alanna. Alanna is a cry baby." Which both humiliated me and of course did NOT make me stop crying, it only made me cry more. I was not her only target. One boy in our class was SO good at math that he was doing long division in second grade. She didn't encourage his aptitude though, she called him a show-off and told him to stop it. I was away from school, but I heard that one girl wasn't feeling well during class and went to the bathroom and stayed there till recess when she came back Mrs Stribosch slapped her face. I don't know what her issue was, but needless to say, I was VERY glad that she retired that year.

I agree. Some teachers are straight savages when it comes to grading. As far as the Spanish students receiving low grades goes, I used to think the same thing. Made no sense but I learned that Spanish speakers also slang the language like we do with English. In addition to all the different shades of Spanish. So those accents, pronouns and sentence structure are crucial.

My experience with one particular teacher isn't as bad as these absolute 'winners' on this video, but they thought I was just too stupid to learn the subject matter and during parent teacher meetings, told my parents in her way exactly that. Completely true and just something I wanted to get off my chest.

I told a teacher off for isolating a boy with tourettes I stood up because my mum is a teacher for kids with disabilities so she told me stuff. I stood up for that boy saying she wasnt a good teacher basically like i said if you make him go to the principal because he would make sounds in class id go with him saying WHY SHE DID. She never came back and the guy said thank you. That made my day. And ever since I've been doing it everywhere.

My third grade teacher used to throw sharpened pencils at us when we came to school unprepared. And our treats were stale 2-3 yr old smarties. She did have a teachers pet who would receive unthrown pencils, and fresh bought from the store chocolate.
