10:23 chaewon is a master performer.. see how her hair gets stuck to her lip as she’s moving forward into the next formation? Watch as she casually flicks it off but with a cheeky face and her hands move in the same flowy elegant way straight into her part …. Like she did it so perfectly it matched the choreo and song vibe and honestly could look intentional or planned bc she didn’t just take it off making it look like something was wrong… she never missed a beat and added on a bit more cheeky … it’s such a small thing but it’s huge with what makes a natural performer

Honestly I think lots of groups are clean and in sync but lesserafim just has charisma that lots of other groups don't have

I havent found any that are this clean , in sync with all the intricate small details. Especially gg for some reason it’s the little details that can tend to get missed or vary from member to member…. But le serrafim basically do what BTS did in the very beginning after debut and why they were know for powerful performances that were flawless synchronization…. They do these routines until they do them in their sleep… a lot of other groups move forward with other comebacks and stuff faster and gives them less time to really get to that point with the dances. There are tons of gg who are fire dancers and can be clean… something about LS is just a bit elevated there

LS just hits different. The pre debut “behind the scenes” doc is really interesting - a lot of get your sh** together conversations from the company to LS. It paid off.

Kkura was in HKT48 before, and the idols in Japan don't get much vocal and dance training if any at all. They either had to pay for them or watch how their sempais did it. That's why Kkura was so amazed at how good the Korean trainees were when she was is PD48. If you like Kkura and Chaewon now, I suggest you check out their group before this "IZ*ONE". My favorite group of all time. You'll also see Yujin and Wonyoung of IVE, captain rabbit Eunbi, our duck Yena, resident hampster Yuri, and 4the geneneration dance Queen Chaeyeon there too.

If you, like I, are falling in love with them, I recommend their year end performance practices/rehearsals. They're setting the standard for performing and the group isn't even a year old!

Before Le Sserafim, there is Itzy that always impressed me in dance practice 👌🏻 For me those two group has the same vibe in energy and synchronization. You should check Itzy debut dance practice🤍

16:27 honestly I think even if you go back to watch the earliest performances and recordings of “fearless,” I think Sakura has gotten so much better even just from then!!! I mean that wasn’t that long ago but I feel like you can see she’s gotten better. She wasn’t bad before… maybe was a confidence thing or something.. but that’s what blows me away about Sakura and chaewon… was I went back to watch them in izone after I discovered them… chae had long hair and honestly neither of them ever really grabbed my attention and they definitely weren’t performing with so much confidence , sass and looking like they’re having so much fun. That group had like 9 girls or something so it’s hard to shine for most of them… but seriously Sakura and chaewon from izone are not who we see today. I think the smaller group and this concept has helped them both come out of their shells and kinda find their strengths and really hone in on them. Neither of them were bad before… but the energy and confidence has grown so much… as it should… they’re killing it!

It’s harder to look super synchronized in small groups bc you can see them all more clearly… it’s why bigger groups get hyped for being more synchronized… when the truth is that yes they are… but more ppl doing one thing even a similar way looks more cohesive without having to be as clean as a small group.

Watch the first few episodes of Produce 48 if you want to see how far Sakura has come in dancing and performance, it's both humbling, and funny (in a good way). Japanese and Korean idol culture is VERY different, or at least it was. I think with former IZ*One members now kind of leading AKB48, or at least influencing, they have narrowed the skill gap.

Actually the people that say Sakura was never a good dancer those people where haters since she was in AKB48 and izone but then they stopped after when they heard that izone was goin to disband and then she signed in HYBE labels that’s when the haters stopped hating on her since they knew HYBE is known to have the good choreography but Sakura been a good a dancer since AKB48 and Izone so yeah

The synchronization might be because they are from the agency of the popular synchronized girl groups which is GFriend. Add to that, two of the members came from one of the synchronized groups in K-pop as well (IZ*ONE).
