So Bad is in my top five fave debuts of 2020. So good. Curious what you guys will think of Run 2 U, it was my most played song last year haha. Sumin and J are the ones with the deep voices. Sumin is the eldest and the leader, J is the maknae! Also, Stereotype mv has always been really sapphic coded to me 😭

One of the reason why stayc's debut has quite many attention is the producer, Black Eyed Pilseung. They are hit songs maker songwriter & producer. Also one of the member, Sieun, was actually active as actress (she won award as Best Young Actress) bfr she debuted in stayc. Plus she is actually daughter of legendary korean singer, Park Nam Jung. So she is already well-known individual in korean entertainment industry. That's why i was shocked when the first time i watched the MV.

For me So Bad is far & away their best tt (& b side Like This slaps too)! I really wish they’d go back to this sound. Sumin was the first one with the deep voice & J, who happened to be 15 at the time, was the second.

Gosh I've been waiting for y'all to do a proper STAYC dive for *months*, this is great. That deep voiced rapper is Jay, the maknae and one of my faves. The other deep voice girl that y'all liked in So Bad is Soomin, the leader.

The two-tone hime cut in asap was Se-eun, the two-tone in Stereotype is Yoon (she's very tall and usually black haired, tho she wore a long blonde wig in some ASAP scenes). The one with orange hair in these videos is Sieun, their vocal lead. (Yes, Sieun and Seeun.) And the final one with the cat-like looks and intriguing vocals is Isa, another fave of mine. I just really like STAYC, y'all.

To me, Blackpink, StayC and NewJeans are the best girl group debuts ever in K-pop in terms of their debut songs... So bad it's a masterpiece in terms of musical production and I think not many people is really aware of it. And yeah, it's really easy to obsess with these girls, especially thanks to their unique voices. Isa, J and Sieun have the most unique voices, anyone can hear them and say it's them (Isa is the one in Stereotype singing the chorus alone just after the bridge, J is the one with that deep voice kind of Dua Lipa tone which shocked me when I saw So Bad for the first time (I got the chance to watch it the same day they uploaded it and I think it's the only group I started stanning from the very first day without knowing anything about them), Sieun is the one with the orange hair in Stereotype (she's the main vocalist, I recommend you to react to her Lee Mujin service)).

Star to a Young Culture (STAYC) was found by the producer duo Black Eyed Pilseung. The duo was responsible for some of TWICE's biggest hits such as LIKE OOH AHH, CHEER UP, TT, LIKEY, and FANCY. I hope the group will get more recognition and fans with their upcoming comeback!

imo stayc has possibly the best no-skip discography of any 4th gen group, half of their bsides could easily be title tracks and the quality of everything is top tier. the biggest draw for me that initially got me interested is that their mics are ALWAYS on; you will never catch them not singing live. i recommend watching their song recording content, it really showcases their talent and also the amazing relationship they have with their main producer RADO.
