For introductory videos, here are the important ones: - BTS crash course 2020 - BTS contribution to Music - The Asian Theory video - From Nobodies to Legends 2018 and 2019 - BTS hardships by Xceleste - This is Army by Xceleste - Who is BTS the seven members of Bangtan (disclaimer: this is an old video so it doesn’t really represent their actual personalities but it’s more of a gist on who they are. You’ll be surprised as to know that they actually have a lot more personalities than what is in the video but since there are no better individual introductory videos yet, this is an okay video to react to) For song recommendations, it is up to you on what type of genre you would like to start with. However, when the time comes that you react to the song ON, please also react to the On : Commentary Film Dialogue. It is what almost all reactors fail to react to. I promise you’ll love it because it also includes a little behind the scenes on who they worked with and a little bit of documentary about bts

You'll be surprised how deep and meaningful their lyrics are (I suggest you turn on the captions on their music videos to understand the message of their songs). They really take their career seriously. And besides, they are wonderful, respectful and responsible human beings that want to make an impact on the society for the better. We will be here for your journey. It's our pleasure 💜💜

They dont live together full time now. The dorm in Hannam The Hill is still there for them to use but they sleep there only for logistic like during promotions where they have to be somewhere early in the morning or maybe airport. I'm sure 1 or 2 members still live in the dorm most of the time but pretty sure Jin and V live somewhere else. They don't say it outright but from their story here and there its clear they are not anymore.

actually all together they're from 4 different cities. only Jimin x Jungkook and Suga x V share hometowns. what i mean is that Jimin and Jungkook are both from Busan, while Suga and V are both from Daegu. Jin is from Gwacheon, RM is from Ilsan, and j-hope is from Gwangju. V and Jimin actually attended the same high school so they've been friends the longest. RM and Suga were the first 2 members recruited and they've lived together the longest (13 years). they all still live together in Seoul (where Big Hit Entertainment, their company is located) in their dorms but they all do own their own apartments/condos. when they first started off, they only slept in one bedroom because Big Hit was short on money and couldn't afford proper dorms for each of them. BTS did almost disband once. back in 2018 they shared that they were really struggling with mental health and overall thinking what the future held for them. during a speech for an award show, Jin said 2018 was a really hard year for all of them to the point where they discussed about disbanding. but they pushed through are where they are now because of army and each other. these are their ages when they debuted: RM-18 Jin-20 Suga-20 jhope-19 Jimin-17 V-17 Jungkook-15

First of all, thank you for giving the Bangtan boys a chance. I really admire you for it. I feel sometimes when guys think about the word "boy band", it could turn them off because the stereotype of boy band had in the past (boys singing & dancing about romantic love and screaming young teenage girls, etc) but then when you actually listen to BTS' music and learn their message, you will realize that BTS is far from a typical boyband indeed. However, most people already wouldn't give them a chance because of the word "Boyband". In fact, BTS 'fan base is so diverse in demography. Let me tell you this, I am a 41 years old with two young kids. I love BTS not because of their visuals but their music, message, talent, hard working, and how & who they are. Their music gives the positive and meaningful message, it is the kind of music that I would like my kids to grow up with (since a lot of music out there these days likes to talk about thug, drug, sex or other bad stuff.) I introduced BTS music to my kids and now we are fans of them. I think it is pretty cool that my kids and I are growing older and closer together listening to the same music. I recommend “The most beautiful life goes on: Story of BTS” by the Asian Theory and “Who is BTS? The seven members of Bangtan” by Suga and Spice. I hope you’ll continue digging into BTS’ music and message. I can assure you’ll not be disappointed. "If you listen to music without prejudice, you will like BTS' music". -- by Suga of BTS.

that's why they're special and different from others. they're a real family to each other. they're barely fighting in a serious way, bcs sadly there's still so many groups out there that not get along with each other either bcs of jealousy, hate, etc. even themselves were saying that they're the truest relationship out of all groups bcs they barely had a fight, even when they're having a argument or they're having a little fight, they made up very quickly so i'm glad that i stan the right group in the right company.

Also, RM, Suga, and j-hope (the rap line) are full members of KOMCA because they write a lot more (they write almost all their own bars--the exceptions being songs in foreign languages (they mostly sing in Korean but they release Japanese albums and a couple of English songs too). Last count RM, Suga, and j-hope have about 400 writing credits between them dating all the way back to pre-debut. The other members (Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) are newer to writing and have about 30 writing credits between the 4 of them. KOMCA only promotes 25 people annually to full members. Suga was promoted in 2018 and RM and j-hope were promoted this year. (Also, fun fact, RM has writing credit on a Billboard Hot 100 #1 song, j-hope and Suga both have credits on 2 Billboard #1 songs, and RM and Suga were recently on Billboard's Songwriters charts (with j-hope just barely missing the Top 10 on that same chart). Anyway, we love a group that contributes to their own work!

Their current ages are 23-28 and when they debuted in 2013 their ages ranged from 15-20. While all the members have contributed to songwriting and/or producing the majority of their songs have been co-written by RM, Suga, and J-Hope. All 3 members have over 100 songwriting credits to their names.

ARMY: "Take my wallet...just take it will ya?!!'' 🤣🤣🤣 Our fandom "ARMY" come in all shapes, sizes, ages, gender, countries, backgrounds etc. (I'm in my 30s btw) BTS has many layers to them. Their songs/MVs is just the tip of the iceberg. They have a genuine appreciation and passion for their art of MUSIC. Their lyrics and messages they want to convey is very deep so it's important to understand what it means & translated in English. Turning CC on is an easy solution. There's so much amazing contents from them so definitely take your time if you wanna continue on this beautiful journey. The list is long. I've been ARMY since 2014 & I'm still trying to catch up. 2020 was not a boring year for ARMY at all because BTS fed us well. in regards to the whole family support, not all of them had it. suga, for example, used to fight a lot with his parents because he wanted to persue music while his parents were largely against it. since suga was already an adult he decided to do it. jungkook on the other hand, always got support from his parents and they supported him through it (he started training when he was in middle school). non of them knew each other, i believe suga knew of rm since they were both pretty popular in the underground rap scene in korea but other than that, total strangers. they still live together to this day but some of them have individual apartments.

Thank you for your reaction, it was nice to hear your honest opinion about them. First off, yes, they come from different parts of korea, and until now they still live together. V said they will be lonely to live alone after all this time living together. They were 14-19 when they start their trainee days, some supported by their parents, some are not, which is way they have experiences to part time jobs. But as far as I know, all their parents supports them now :) In the beginning, bighit struggles financially, so they can only afford small apartement, but now they have their own bedroom. BTS music really helped a lot of people, be it their albums or a self produced songs and mixtape, their lyrics and sincerity touches us, transcends language, age, gender, and culture. RM said that lyrics are important, as they are written for us.. Please react to bts from nobodies to legends (2019) by Xceleste next.. Thanks for your interest and sharing. RM & Suga/Yoongii knew each other growing up, and I think they're from the country and Korea and ASIA is very much conservative and family-oriented in nature, and school plays a big role in the upbringing (esp. socially). It's interesting they came from a pastoral world and brought their talents to the group and now we have a worldwide positive movement we call ARMY and BTS! Again, thanks for posting. Oh, I should mention that I only bought their digital albums up until Nov. 2020 when I bought the limited edtion "BE" album box and that was a historical album (recorded in pandemic conditions). So, I also bought the digital version of BE as well, and being ARMY becomes a cool cultural thing because, as with the BE album, we all unboxed on the same day and it was something we all as fans took part in. BTS know this about us and they always keep ARMY in mind.

In South Korea to enter K-pop you must enter the Idol Training System after signing with a Entertainment Label. (So for BTS that was Big Hit) After that kids leave their homes + families (unless they live near the agency) and live in dorms (apartments) near the company. The company enrolls them in local schools for them to attend during the day and for the rest of the day the kids go to the company to revive training on singing, dancing, rapping, acting, modeling, how to act in public/on TV shows, etc. So essentially kids from a young age decide what they want to do and buy into the process. The problem is, usually, only a handful are being selected after years of training so hundreds of kids end up having to pursue other careers at some point when they’re not chosen for a group. This was essentially the case form BTS, save for the fact that they were all selected to be in BTS and trained from then on. Like this doc says BTS wasn’t big and was nearly bankrupt so it wasn’t like they were attracting a lot of young talent back then.

am... your information is wrong, this was not the case for bangtan, suga and namjoon auditioned in a rap competition, hobi was a dancer, jin auditioned as an actor, the only ones who knew they wanted to be singers / rappers were namjoon and jungkook, jin started singing at 10/20 after joining big hit, Jimin only had 1 year as a trainee and learned to sing at 17, suga was just going to be a producer because he wasn't interested in being a singer, they don´t train for. They didn't train for years and years because not everyone had the idea of being "idols" (just jk) also the only ones who went to school after joining big hit were jk, jimin, tae and jin (who was already in a college before and that's why he attended college in person).
@taequilasilver71833 жыл бұрын
With RM, the same CEO of big hit (bang sihyuk) asked him to join because his rap captivated him, he also asked Yoongi since he was not at all convinced because he wanted to be just a producer, Jin was recruited when they saw him on the street and he just wanted to be an actor lol, Several big companies like sm wanted to recruit jk but he decided to stay at BH because of RM (this is funny because everyone was behind him, including big hit), j hope didn't decide since he was little that he wanted to be a rapper, he learned to rap after joining BH, they recruited him to BH even though he had no experience rapping or singing, Jimin is the same, he was a very good dancer and despite not having a background in singing he entered just 1 year before bangtan debuted

Bighit has in a small group house writers and producers that work with them as well but out of the 7 BTS members the rap line does the most writing/producing of their songs so that’s why they were promoted to full members.

I've listened to a lot of artists and bands over the decades. I don't even like pop music. They are the first group I can say their music has gotten better and more personal over time. Most others eventually fall into that sell-out/"their old music was better" category after a few years.

Korea is a small country so apartments range in size and some are basically mansions over there 😂😂 they build vertically instead of horizontally. So now they live in a big ass house but their starting dorm/apartment was only 1 bedroom

Thank you so much for doing these BTS reactions 💕 I really really love how genuine you are with your comments 🥺 and it really warms my heart, personally, when people really want to dive into the boys' discography and everything they stand for. 💕 With that being said, I think ARMY would like to know what genres you like 👀 because BTS dabbles into a LOT of genres.

Yes! Music is a universal language, but lyrics are one of the most important factors of their music, so we love the songs even more after understanding what the story is about! They put extra effort on lyrics too and they hold group meetings prior to each album release to talk about what topic they should discuss

Namjoon's speeches always make me cry bro. I would actually recommend watching a guide to the 7 members of bangtan. It dives deeper into each member instead of doing BTS as a whole. And a live performance would be awesome!

I think it's important to note that there is no one main character. They share the stardom and I think the loss of any one of them would devastate the group, not to mention the fans.

They didn't know each other before bts, but three of the members were involved in the underground hiphop and dance scene so they probably knew "of" each other. Especially since they were all really good and were well known. I would recommend "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS". It's probably one of the most comprehensive docu videos out there. Also, Korean entertainment companies are the same thing as labels in the US.

Their CEO is pretty lenient and lets them have their own creative freedom, so whenever they wanna release songs/solo stuff they just need to tell the company and it will go through evaluation

In kpop in general the people (trainees) have to pass auditions and train their specific skill like singing, rapping, dancing, acting etc. And the company picks out certain individuals to debut them in boy/girl/co-ed groups and sometimes many people don't make it and they have to train for years to get the companies attention. Kpop is competitive but all artists have interesting qualities 💕 I've been a fan since 2015 and seeing others enjoying it is awesome 🥰

I’m in my late 30’s and love them to bits. You should react to the rapline of the group with UGH, Outro tear and Daeeng as well as Joke by RM, Daechwita by Agust D (Suga’s solo stage name) and JHope’s Daydream! Please also react to the vocal line with My time and Euphoria by Jungkook, Serendipity and Filter by Jimin, Singilarity by V and Epiphany by Jin. Fake love, Save me, airplane 2, idol, butterfly are a few of many suggestions from their diverse discography! You can’t go wrong with these. What makes them even more special is their skills in comedy! These guys are super funny and this can be seen in their shows Run BTS and Bon voyage on the Vlive app 😎

They only knew each other after they passed the audition at BIGHIT and became trainees. The are not like the typical boy band in the west who have already formed their own group before they got discovered by any music recording company. They trained for years before debuting and in order to develop friendship and commaraderie, they had to live together while training. So yeah, they are all strangers to each other when they first met. By the way, all seven members have bought their own multi-million dollar luxury apartments in South Korea but they are still living together to these days. They don't see each other as boy band members nor friends but brothers.... A family of seven boys with different unique personalities. And FYI, they complement each other a lot.
