Yall reacted to XG before and I def did forget to leave a comment omg. But, XG are def MY FAVS right now. I’d say after BLACKPINK, a lot of folks are tuning into XG as another potential BIG GLOBAL GIRL GROUP, especially with that being XG's aim. Ppl may have given yall all their deets but yall know me… I have to have my turn too lol. XG is an acronym for "Xtraordinary Girls" and they are a global girl group under XGALX management through their label AVEX based in Japan. They debuted on March 18, 2022 with their 1st single/MV “Tippy Toes.” They are all Japanese but promote in Korea and aim for the GLOBAL/WESTERN music market. They technically would be considered also a "J-POP" group but even still they claim their status as being global and the fans claim this heavily as well. They only sing in all ENGLISH for this reason. Also, XG's concept is based on wolves and you can see that throughout their MVS. The members represent themselves as a “pack of wolves” as in their debut song “Tippy Toes” one member named Juria actually sings a line “we’re a pack every part of her is part of me” and naturally speaking we as humans don’t say we’re part of “packs” as we use that more for like a group of wolves or like a pack of objects. XG even quoted within their fandom name's official announcement that the wolf symbolizes their group being XG. The members used this as a say to also relate this to us a fandom as well when they said “the leader of a pack of wolves is called the Alpha. The name of the fandom is "ALPHAZ", a word that unites all fans who relate to XG. 'We a pack' and will start a movement worldwide.” Moreover, their producer who makes all this happen name is Simon Jakops. Simon Park (aka known Simon Jakops) is half Korean and Japanese but is a kpop rapper/vocalist and former member of a boy kpop boy group called “DMTN” (Dalmatian). They debuted in 2010 with a single "Round 1". It was reported that “since 2013 they're formally in hiatus and in 2020 they reassembled to celebrate their 10th anniversary and relesed a single song "Never Forget”.” Moreover, Simon Jakops is the CEO of XGALX, the agency behind XG. He put a lot of time and effort into these girls and they are definitely worth it. They are also very heavily INSPIRED by BLACK MUSIC and culture which they admit time and time again. They actually never deny it and always credit black artists which should be the bare minimum but in this era n time, it is not and we applaud them for this each and every time. The girls themselves mentioned admiring Tevin Campbell, Michael Jackson, Aaliyah, HER, Frank Ocean, Anderson Paak, Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige, Kehlani, etc. They are focused on a lot of RNB, Jazz, Soul, and other cultural elements in many of their songs. You guys should check out their personal rap and vocal film performances (they’re called XG TAPES). Their tapes also got them more popular within this past year. Their mvs yall should check out I will list below. These girls are really powerhouses and always SHOWS their versatility, PRAISE WORHTY DANCING ABILITIES, and ARTISTIC style non-stop. Their mvs yall have not reacted to yet: TIPPY TOES MASCARA (highly recommend) SHOOTING STAR (highly recommend) GIRL GVNG (highly recommend) TGIF NEW DANCE PUPPET SHOW (highly recommend) HESONOO & X-GENE (highly recommend) also this is NOT an actual MV but a performance video where you can praise their dancing, rapping, and singing abilities. The 7 MEMBERS of XG: Jurin 3:26 (21 years old,Leader, Lead Rapper, Main Dancer, Vocalist) Cocona 3:39 (Maknae (youngest member), 18 years old, Main Rapper) Harvey 3:06 (20 years old, the only mixed member as she was born in Japan but half-japanese as her mom is Japanese and half white-Australian as this is her dad's side, Main Rapper, Sub-Vocalist) Chisa 1:39 (21 years old, Main Vocalist, Sub-leader) Juria 1:29 (19 years old, Main Vocalist) Hinata 1:48 (21 years old, Sub-Vocalist, Main Dancer) Maya 3:16 (18 years old, Lead Vocalist, Rapper, also the only member who is actively fluent in English. She does most of the talking at English spoken interviews. They are all good at English ofc, but Maya is the most fluent as she attended an international school based in Japan called “Seisen” where they are notable for learning, instruction, and speaking being all in English). It is also noted that “students and faculty from over 60 countries are represented at Seisen.” The girls mainly learn English for their songs so they make sure their pronounciation for these songs are flawless which is why you can hear literally no accent from them. However, when they speak, they normally converse in Japanese and Maya would be the one to dibble in and out of Japanese to speak along in English as well. @@CoachCastTV yesss anytime. I’m such a multi-stan so more than likely I’ll try and provide as much beginner info as I can when you guys get into groups I know a lot about. I became a kpop stan officially back in 2020 so this all comes from constant article reading, video diving, and eyeing multi-media source outlets. I remember what it felt like going into kpop as a newbie and being so lost without any info but now knowing as much as I do about various groups and sources within the k-industry I try to always reflect that by sharing with others and of course it’s ALL still a learning process for me. Yes 🙌🏽 this for me is a perfect Christmas gift 🎁 from their Executive Producer “Jakops” Simon. This group is very unique and their songs are versatile and unique. They have a great stylist so they’re generous in their wardrobe and jewelry accessories…I watched a few of the shows where they’re shopping and each girl has extreme unique style and taste. I would recommend their recent Vogue Japan outlay where the members are allowed to choose their outfits. It’s Amazing. They’re on the cover of Vogue JAPAN 🇯🇵 and it’s Stunning. Very sweet, almost restful song, and I love the mix of solos, harmonies, and rap. One thing that has occurred to me (belatedly) is the generally high pitch of each of the K-Pop ladies' voices. None of them is a very rich alto, at least, as far as I have been able to pick out in any of the K-pop videos I've seen so far. Definitely one for listening to in front of the fire (shame I don't have one, and radiators really don't give the same vibe) by the light of the twinkly-winkly lights on the tree, with a warming beverage of your choice.

XG is the first Japanese girl group to be competitive w/ K-pop idols; their creator is an Asian American man born btw a Korean father & Japanese mother in the USA, not in Japan who arguably collaborated w/ Japanese music producers. It's said that it had taken over 4 yrs of training in singing & dancing not only in Japan but also in Korea as well ( one member, Harvey who is only 16-17 yo, is a biracial btw Australian & Japanese). Of interest is that they all have to learn both English & Korean for 3 yrs on top of singing & dancing, & performed in Korea, Japan, the USA, & also in such exotic places like middle-easts or Saudi Arabia ( K-pop is getting popular in those areas as well to my surprise). Japanese in general is sooo proud of them that they posted on KZbin but lasted only for 2-3 hrs & deleted as usual!! ( they have Babymetal, Band-maid or heavy metal rockers & so until now, there has been no Japanese pop idols who can compete w/ K-pop idols). Ms Coach, you are right, they have to be very diligent & work hard leaving no time for fooling around which often causes scandals affecting them negatively. Not to offend you but any music can get 20 million views given time but xg won’t get much views within 24 hrs like bts, blackpink, red velvet, aespa. Like 20 -60 million views within 24 hr. Xg music videos views are really underrated for the talent they show us. Its around 1.2 million views and past 24 hr already.

@@JohnT2088 given to the fact that they debuted last year those views are quite impressive. The other groups you mentioned are all promoted on big established publisher channels. For Example aespa is active since 2020 and their MVs are on SMTOWN. This channel featured EXO with hundreds of millions of views... The XG Channel was made from scratch so still impressive. I still want them to have hundreds of millions of views :D:D:D

Waiting for the day, when you reacted to Mamamoo's Whee In, with the following songs "Forget me Now" and "Short Hair", they are two very good songs, where Whee In fits with one more person, in each song, where that each of their vocals just leaves you even more surprised, that's one of the reasons why Whee In is my bias. Because her vocals are no joke, and she makes it easy, with her wonderful smile, I literally started to love Whee In, after I was forced to have her as Bias, in my group of friends, but, honestly, I loved it After I researched her, I was just surprised at every moment about her. Many people don't know, because she is the hottest of the group, and in my opinion the funniest, and that she is the "ACE" of the group, knowing how to play instruments, sing, rap, dance, and much more, she is a complete idol, and because she is the least famous of the group, this also affects your knowledge and appreciation of her, as many people don't know how good she really is. Obs: I love your videos, I discovered your channel through Ariana Grande's videos ❤❤❤

Vocals... amazing. (The setting is that they have 1 take to perform the song with "mikes that pickup everything!" No hiding their talents.... The way they support each other vocally is amazing. There are ad-libs that I didn't catch on the MV (who was singing them, that sort of thing). Well if you are interested in a pleasant vocal experience.... Oh ...to help you out... XG is a group created in the "K-Pop way" out of Japanese trainees. Their producer, Simon, is the brains behind the group, but credits the girls as being determined and focused. He wanted to create a group focused on Global Pop. They ALL excel in dancing, singing, with some more than others, and a very skilled rapline. They have a lot of covers (paying homage to old school R&B/Hip-hop...like late 90's - 2000's. Even the original artists has expressed their favour to XG's covers. Mrs Coach , and possibly Mr Coach.. haha, will love the vocal line covers. The last one was amazing. Vocal covers => start with Vox; Rap covers=> Tape #.. (as in old-school mixtape). Well enjoy your next journey with the Alphaz... (Fandom name).
