what a breath of fresh air this episode was. fun, sophisticated people who enjoyed the spirit of fun competition, were classy and didn't say nasty things about each other. They seemed to genuinely care about one another. Fabulous. I wish all the shows were like this one.

Absolutely lovely bunch! I’ve never watched an episode where the people are so wholesome & genuinely wants to like each other’s foods. All of them did a terrific job, although their demographics are poles apart. Amazing episode! Thanks for uploading 😊

Would love some come dine with me cops Vs cops, fire brigade vs fire brigade,chefs vs chefs episodes. Just for fun and obviously for charity. Ex Gordon Ramsay vs Jamie Oliver, to see if they can cook and host as the perfect come dine with me person.

OMG, how does Simon put up with Dawn....! Why would anybody want a relationship like that..maybe just habit, poor guy, not equals, but he is downtrodden and she thinks she is being funny by mocking him and domineering him. Shame

I agree Dawn appears to be so toxic. If she's calling Simon a twit on TV, I can only imagine what she calls him in the privacy of their home.

It's because Simon has not watched enough true crime and forensics. Poor Chap has no clue of how to get rid of her. Yes, I know I'm going to H*ll for that one. Oh well at least most of the fun folks will be there. Religious folks please don't attack, I say all of that in Jest. Yes I believe in God(Roman Catholic let's the jokes ensue. Bless me Father for I am about to sin and all that jazz). I can still be a believer and have a sarcastic sense of humor. Happy New Year Everyone. Let's give 2024 a go.

Exactly that old bird she wasn’t very nice to her husband(Simon). I’m assuming that she was raised watching her mother treat her father like that so she just thinks that’s a normal way of life and it’s pretty sad. Hopefully she has changed because I’m sure this is quite the old episode as I don’t think anybody should have to live a life being treated like that and die that way as he seems like a really nice bloke.

Does NO ONE make a cheesecake in the oven? It's much better than any refrigerated pie.

I think unbaked is more common in the uk. Baked more typical of American style. I like both but grew up with unbaked cold set and really like it. Just different

New York cheesecake cake rules. Refrigerated cheesecake is easier, faster, cheaper but can't compare in flavor & texture to baked.

Stephen and Aeysha were winners in my book. At first i thought they'd be snobby and look down their noses at the others but they turned out to be the most open and considerate couple of the 3. I especially loved how Aeysha put the other two women in their place without offending them when they both " jokingly" probed for prenup information under the guise of joking. Neither man was interested in the topic. What's that tell you.

Aisha doesn't do anything at all. she's nice but she really hasn't done anything. not my type of food except the tacos. and I thought it very impertinent to wash the apples that had fallen on the ground, and yet serve them to the guests. I would never have done that, I would have come up with something else, but I wouldn't give my guests apples that fell on the floor

Why in these shows do they always eat with the fork upside down? Forks are curved upwards for a reason. Would you do that with a spoon?
@areldia2259 ай бұрын
In the US we use forks more like a shovel the rest of the world use forks correctly. To spear the food using the tines of the fork. We are always complimented on our correct use of forks.
@CeravvvEgan9 ай бұрын
You are meant to use a fork like that, as the first response said. Americans can’t and don’t use cutlery properly.

@@CeravvvEgan I don't believe you! Using a fork has nothing to do with America!
@CeravvvEgan9 ай бұрын
@@glenncurley680 better believe it! Americans use their forks like a shovel. In the rest of the fork and knife using world, we use the fork in our left hand, prongs turned down, knife in your right hand, and you use the knife to push bite sized food onto the back of the fork.

@hensonlaura6 ай бұрын
I saw the first CDWM last year and the narrating was completely different in character. Factual, merely an accompaniment to cooks & diners on their best behavior, it was a bore. Dave Lamb MADE this show by getting louder & more outrageous and calling the particioants out on their quirks & behavior. He changed the entire nature of the show & turned it into a hit.
