Hey Cut - it would be really cool if, next time, you discussed sexual dysfunction on the women’s end too. I, for example, suffer from vulvodynia, which means I have chronic pelvic pain that causes excessive tightness. Many women who have this problem don’t know what it is, and therefore don’t know that it can be overcome with a loving and patient partner. Like, I used to think I would be single forever because of it 😕 But then I met my husband, and we figured it out! There are also women who have trouble lubricating, or women who suffer from low libido due to medications they’re on, as one of the ladies in this video touched on. I think it would be really interesting to explore these kinds of issues at greater length. Thanks!

2:12 😩💔 The pressure some guys put on themselves to "perform" is so stressful. An entire industry has been created around a so-called _dysfunction_ while there are a zillion ways to be satisfyingly intimate and enjoy ecstasy with your partner that don't require penetration.
@personrandom82153 жыл бұрын
So your solution to any guy with ED is to just never use their penis again and do other things for the rest of your life? Sheesh you're definitely not a guy
@Ineverusemychannel3 жыл бұрын
@@personrandom8215 all men experience occasional softness, premature ejaculation and dysfunction and as they get older it’s frequency increases. Young men should not be experiencing these issues at the rate that they are. It is not normal or healthy for this to be such a huge part of their sex lives that they feel they need to be medicated (some as young as teenagers). Pressure to perform, porn and stress in general have made it more difficult for men to engage in sex that they want. Instead of just universally band aiding this with a pill, we should be focusing on fixing the root causes. We are playing into a market that exacerbates the problem rather than fixing it for young men. Alleviating the cause is the most sustainable way for men to have the penetrative sex they want while avoiding dependency on substances. Focus more on improving men’s lives than attacking women for considering other means of sex.
@emilyscloset26483 жыл бұрын
Natasha exactly. Also, @Person Random. No, it is to deal with the toxic mentality behind it. A lot of ED cases are actually mental rather than physical. And actually, allowing yourself to enjoy the experience rather than worrying whether what you are doing makes you less of a man, will be a better experience for both yourself and your partner. On a amab cis guy, there are so many different erroneous areas that feel amazing to explore apart from your penis. And no, I'm not just taking about your prostate. Your sides, shoulders, back can all feel amazing when simulated properly. And when you drop that mentality that penises are required for sex and the only way to give pleasure, then you get a much better and more fulfilling intimate relationship with your partner
@Solidude43 жыл бұрын
@@personrandom8215 That's not her point? Pretty sure the point is that it would be better if men didn't feel as if the entirety of their sexual worth depends on whether they can get hard or not.

@@Ineverusemychannel Umm...read my comment again. You're jumping to assumptions that I've given you no reason to believe. I completely agree with you that ED may be a symptom for other causes that may include blood pressure and heart problems so you should for sure consult a doctor. And I also agree with you that you should be cautious when taking drugs and look for other solutions first. I didn't say anything to the contrary. I'm simply saying that using other means to have an enjoyable experience is a temporary solution not a long term for multiple reasons. Also I'm not attacking anyone I'm just disagreeing there's a big difference.

i wish we could talk about how often this "dysfunction" happens to women too but there's just no word to describe it so it often goes un-talked about. Very often many women myself included just cannot get aroused and sex can be incredibly difficult and disheartening when it feels like- why won't my body respond the way I want it to? Why does it only feel good sometimes but then others I just can't seem to get aroused or finish. It's really frustrating that there isn't a word to describe this in women and it's NEVER talked about. :( especially considering how common it is.

It makes me sad that people with ED feel the need to explain themselves. It's obviously not their fault, the same way as it's not somebody's fault if they can't have an orgasm, no one's to blame here. It's great that they talk about ED but I wish they had discussed female issues too. Unfortunately I think female issues are largely ignored because you believe you can just slap some lube on and it works anyway, but female arousal is about more than just lubrication so that's really not a fix!
@KreeZafi3 жыл бұрын
If anyone sees this who is not very educated on female arousal, I'll go ahead and elaborate a bit. For one, the vagina expands quite significantly during arousal to accommodate penetration, the cervix shifts up to make room etc. Because of this, penetration when not aroused can be uncomfortable even if you use lube. Furthermore, just like with male erections a lot of blood will rush to the genitals and make them swell and throb. The clitoris enlarges and pokes out, making it easier to stimulate, and everything generally becomes more sensitive and receptive to pleasure. This is why foreplay is really important particularly if you have a female partner! The fact of the matter is that female arousal takes longer than male arousal, and if you rush past it you're more likely to experience discomfort and less likely to experience pleasure. As a woman myself I know this very well, like sometimes if I want to masturbate but go at it too quickly with insufficient preparation it's quite an underwhelming, disappointing experience. One of the main sexual complaints heterosexual women have is a lack of foreplay. Seriously, I cannot stress enough how important it is for females to be properly aroused, and that it goes beyond lubrication!!

It slightly annoys me how problematic the discussion is around sex. Firstly, penises are not required for sex. Secondly, when they are involved using them being erect to determine if someone is into you is a terrible way to do it. There are a plethora of reasons someone might be erect or on the other side of things, not being erect. If someone wasn't into it and not into you, they wouldn't be having sex with you. Thirdly, the whole idea that a penis is the only way to please a partner and if you can't they'll leave you. That's so wrong on the face of it, hardly worth explaining. Also the whole notation of having to perform is kinda fucked up. It's adult fun time so you are meant to be having fun. There isn't a performance going on but a connection with intimacy. And this is why, everyone is so gosh darn insecure about it all, because society is crazy immature and tries to force unrealistic expectations on everyone instead of telling everyone to communicate and have fun with their partner.

Thank you for saying it‚ the whole approach here weirded me out esp with cut’s usually more diverse/aware content… we didn’t even see examples of partners that both have penises‚ or any trans people who have their own ways of having sex wrt the effects of hormones/surgery.
