The last couples issue really may be that the male may have a mental disability that may be undiagnosed or just not talked about so he can't express his thoughts clearly & may make decisions that others may think are irrational like leave at 1am because in his mind he not out doing anything wrong. Or he says he found the condoms at the store but can't express it was outside the door of the store because no one asked specifically where at the store did he find them. I only pose this possible theory because I see a lot of middle school students who get in trouble because they don't have the ability to express their thoughts clearly or their reasoning. You have to be very specific in questioning otherwise if you ask general questions, they will basically repeat the same answer.
