Wow! You are planning to fill and donate 200 Easter Baskets this year, and you increase your goal by 50 each year? Girl! You are so ambitious and generous!! I was in two Domestic Violence Shelters during Easter 1991, with my 3 1/2 year old son, in Ft. Worth, Texas, and then in Phoenix, AZ, after I moved back home. (We got to town the day before Easter.) My son had plenty of Easter gifts from my family, but it would have been so nice for him (and the other kiddos) to have been able to receive an Easter Basket from the shelter! I wish that I had the means to be able to provide some to them every year!! God bless you!!

I guess I dont know why subscribers give you a hard time at the quantities you buy. Most of your viewers arent even in your state. Like me. I am in Iowa so I could care less if you clear the shelf. And much of what you do is for charity. We actually got all of those cosmetic kits a couple months ago, and I didn't buy any of them. I'm a make up snob. It seems we are getting the makeup before you. Look out for a couple more eye shadow pallets heading your way that you havent found yet. And there will be an Alice & Wonderland pallet coming at some point. Just like Sesame Street. And look for the HEADQUARTERS brand in hair care. There is a shampoo, conditioner and a scalp scrub. They are TOP NOTCH and feel like high end.

@ruth3469 we do tell you I tell them which location and I even state if I have seen them at multiple locations I let you know. I also have over 100k subscribers often 100’s of comments it’s not that I’m rude it’s difficult to answer 100’s of comments we try I know Megan does as well. This is why we listed our favorite locations in hopes it helps the locals find great stores and items. I also I don’t clear the shelves I try my best to make sure there are some left since you are in my area you know there are tons of resellers and they often travel store to store wiping the shelves. I do run a nonprofit I do give them away in giveaways I love what I do and am proud of what I do.

@ruth3469 it is in the comments I don’t tell people in my hauls what location I’m at 90% of my subscribers aren’t even in my state. The very few comments from locals I’ll tell them I don’t have an issue with that but you do realize I go Wednesday and Sunday and I haul Tuesday that’s almost a week of the items at the store on the shelf. Honestly after a week it is very very unlikely the items are still on the available and on the shelves. The stores get wiped quickly that is not because of Megan or myself but because others shop there too and we have absolutely no control of what goes out of the store. If Megan buys 5 it’s her money her business. I have been shopping with Megan many times I have never ever witnessed her wiping any shelves for any reason. Please keep in mind we go to high traffic stores. All we can both do is try to be good content creators try to help people when we can we and do what we can we to help our local subscribers but we cannot control what people buy or how quickly they fly off the shelves. The stores we have listed many times get what we may have found in Long Beach we may see again in cypress that’s why we listed multiple locations to give everyone an opportunity to grab items to. We are not horrible mean hearted people and wipe shelves purposely or try to send subscribers on a wild goose chase when we both know the price of gas is ridiculous out here.

@ruth3469 - First off, I have two daughters and a neighbor who’s battling cancer, and I make sure to support her family in any way I can-including buying for her daughter. So, before you judge how I spend my money, maybe take a moment to consider that you don’t know my full story. As for where I shop, that’s my personal choice. I visit places like Chapman in Fullerton, Magnolia, and yes, even Lincoln-if that’s something you felt the need to know. And just to clarify, Mel is one of the most selfless people I know. She gives everything away without hesitation and always puts others before herself. If someone needed it, she’d literally give them the clothes off her back-no questions asked. So, what exactly are you trying to accomplish with these hurtful comments? Attacking us with unnecessary negativity isn’t productive or appreciated. Maybe take a moment to reconsider how you speak to others. At the end of the day, all we’re doing is sharing fun finds from Dollar Tree-showing people what’s out there and enjoying the thrill of the hunt. @ruth3469Megan was not trying to be mean spirited. Megan is just blunt and she has no problem telling people her open and honest opinions and answers. Sometimes it may come across as harsh or mean but that’s not her intentions at all. This is one of the many qualities I love about her I want an open honest answer I ask Megan. I leave my comments open because I want this to be a safe place for anyone to have an open honest conversation I thank you for bringing this to our attention it’s always good to know what others think and feel if the conversation of course is respectful and honest. It is difficult to answer every question but we try our best to accommodate everyone. I hope both our answers brought you some clarity as to why we do things and I really do hope in the future you find items at local dollar trees we frequent. I would honestly watch the shop with me videos rather than hauls as the hauls are filmed almost a week after we visit the stores and if you see items we both found either send a message via email or Instagram (that is the quickest way to get a response because the comments here can be in the 100’s) we will gladly let you know how many were left and what locations we saw them at. It’s not about keeping it a secret or hoarding anything there are dozens of factors that may affect the hunt please keep that in mind. Prayers are always good and I certainly will be praying for everyone for kindness joy peace and love for everyone.

So I'm from the OC in SoCal and go to most of the DTs between OC and the IE and even MoVal. I'm a local with that said coupon for a cause I got your back 🥰 you do the footwork, you do amazing charity work yeah some days I'm like darn can't find the blank. But DT haunting is time consuming and if you find it you got to haul it because you might not find it again. I get it. Keep doing what u do your amazing and you don't have to explain yourself to anyone. Recently subscribed and I just have a few things I would like to say. First- I have really enjoyed your videos. Your voice is so relaxing and you really show a lot of items from pretty much all the isles. 2nd- I absolutely love that you give back to your m subscribers and community with so much excitement, love and enthusiasm. It’s beautiful, infectious and I wish more people did as much. I deal with a similar situation but with a cashier who makes remarks not knowing I am donating most of it to different causes and had taken in 2 kids making my home full with 8 people so yeah I bought a lot I had a lot of people and with so many things that tended to run out fast. My point is it’s a business, your a consumer and unless there is a limit your not doing anything wrong and people need to stop being keyboard warriors. You have no idea why anyone buys, why they buy it and it’s not really any of anyone business. I guess if you can’t find something you wanted instead of complaining in the comments on a video and blaming everyone else I advise you to get offline and analyze yourself, go earlier and visit multiple locations just as most of us do. Although you might not see it most of the people who make content or buy and hunt for these items for whatever reason do go to several locations and spend a lot of time hunting them down to find them or to buy multiple. It is not as easy as walking in your local dollar tree and buying everything up like you often think just by watching a video. Lastly you’re doing a great thing with your content and community and I appreciate it!! I love to sit when I find a Minute to unwind to relax and honestly it saves me time by seeing what is new from your video so when I go I know what I am looking for and can make a list while watching sometimes. I bought the Divine by Profusion Nude eyeshadow kit and Colour Spell eyebrow kit. The liquid eyeliner was dried up and the mascara top came off in the tube for the Divine Nude eyeshadow kit, so I would not recommend it. I bought the Colour Spell eyebrow kit for my daughter and she liked it and it works well for her, so I would recommend that. Great video!
