Hey mam. Sorry I didn’t see this sooner. That pie safe wanted to be made. I was up until almost 3am thinking about it. 🤦🏻‍♀️ That’s usually when my brain wakes up. Lol. I was really happy that it came together. It’s my absolute favorite space now. I taught my 19 year old to make bread there. I taught all the little one’s how to read recipes and they made cookies and pies. It’s definitely serving its new purpose. 🖤

Hey girl. Chica everything looks like it came together. I did the same thing with different bedroom furniture pieces too long time ago because I didn't have money so I bought different pieces from different places and then painted them all the same color and added the same hardware to match them all up. I had them all good for like 20 years till I lost the 2 nightstands in a flood. So now I just have two pieces left. But it was back in the early 90s and it's time to get better pieces.Thank you for sharing your ideas and home with us. Looks fantastic and cozy. God bless you sweetie. Oh man all I can say is gorgeous! Wish I had seen this about 34 years ago. I had an antique China cabinet that was ruined from a flood in restroom on same wall, so I emptied it & my husband threw it away! I didn't want him to but he didn't like for me to keep "stuff"!

My husband is the exact same way!! When I moved across country I gave away 90+ percent of my home and only kept the essentials, didn't mind since I gave everything to a struggling man and his family from Africa who didn't have much. I still filled most of a 26' moving truck when relocating!

The hubby doesn’t mind if I keep stuff if I actually use it. Because he knows that I like systems. If I can’t create a system for it then we probably don’t need it. So he always balances me out. lol

Your baking center is a dream. I wish I would have seen this a year ago when I did my dining room. I am still wanting to replace the back of a custom piece with the chicken wire. @@coupontoprovide I am so stoked!!!! I've been binging all night. I actually remember your craft studio with the washi organizers. I know I saw that back in the day. I was not the farmhouse, antique fiend that I am now, so we have grown in the same direction! My mom hates the distressed stuff, but her neighbor, who is from Peru just redid her house in all "stressed out" furniture. I will never call it distressed again. It was so hard not to laugh during that conversation. The Holy Muzzle was much appreciated, He doesn't grant me one very often.

I know! I totally forgot to and I didn’t realize it until I was rewatching the video. My friends daughter has an Etsy shop and she made them for me. They are cotton fabric “paper towels”. They have Velcro strips on each end to connect them into a roll. We use and wash them regularly. 🖤 etsy.me/2LXTBE6

I’m am curious about something you just mentioned in passing: beeswax liners?? Never heard of them. What are their function? Do you still use them? Is there a diy? Thanks for any response, I know this is an older video.

I do still use them. It’s 100% cotton fabric coated in bees wax. I add it in the lid to make a container air tight. I also use them as basket plate liners because I don’t use disposable dishes.
