I like the theory that the entire show is normal life viewed through Courage's eyes. He's reacting like a normal dog to normal every day situations, but the way he views them is much more terrifying, that's for example why nobody in this scene really cares about a whole ass tornado destroying the house and blowing everyone away, the wind is a visual representation of emotions and the noise from the argument that scares a dog a lot.

It's a little different here. She's not being a Karen, but she _is_ being a little delusional. This is not a case of "entitlement", but rather a case of "mistaken identity". The storm goddess was a bit desperate because she couldn't find her dog named Duncan, which to Muriel's misfortune, Courage had the same color and spot pattern. So by mistake, she thought that was Duncan. Once Courage actually found Duncan, she stopped trying to claim him.

Interesting little detail I didn't know until I got older. Muriel is Scottish. When she got turned into a child she had a really thick Scottish accent. But when she got older it kind of diluted into this British sounding one.
