Hello from Rio! I'm about halfway through my round the world trip and haven't had the best internet. So this took forever to upload, but I hope you enjoy the quality and all of these street food vendors! Also hope you have a snack nearby because this may excite some cravings too!

Hi Steven, I hope you and you wife have a blast. There's plenty to eat in BKK, the hard part is trying to get to it all. Best wishes for your coming trip.

Kanom Tang looks familiar to Apam Balik in Malaysia, love it! Flying Ice Cream is sooo cool, it tastes better if it flies right? Ha. The guy had so much enthusiasm!
@CourageousKitchen7 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's similar but probably twice the size. It's deceivingly thick! The flying ice cream guy is a pro. He's been doing it for years and of course now there are a few other stalls doing similar things to him too.

Such an excellent video. I read that getting here is quite simple by train but the last Bangkok return is 5pm. Imagine there are busses that depart later. Hope you are enjoying many caipirinhas! Safe travels.
@CourageousKitchen7 жыл бұрын
Tosh T I have never been here by train. But the most convenient thing is probably the mini buses going back and forth. Thanks friend, I'm sitting at a corner party, drink in hand, waiting on the live music to start 😎

LOL I love the little "disclaimer" - watch with a snack. I could literally spend all my money there - everything looks amazing! I love night markets in general. Would love to try the coconut cups! And Mussel Omelette!

I'm watching and eating fried chicken. I like that you added the pronunciation. I feel like this should be done more with certain things.

Great video covering many parts of this local Thai market!!! We have not visited this part of the world yet but it is very high on our travel bucket list. We would love to roam through this market and try many local foods. Especially my wife would love to try crepe style Thai desert "kanom tang thaek".
@CourageousKitchen7 жыл бұрын
I think you'd definitely love it. You can find many of these treats around Bangkok, but this market since it's been around so long tends to attract very seasoned vendors!

Great video! Those are some mega durians!
@CourageousKitchen7 жыл бұрын
This province is famous for their durian, but it wasn't durian season when I was there last.
@CheapCharlieChronicles7 жыл бұрын
I think durian season is kicking in right about now. I hope it is still going when I get back there in a couple of weeks.

Thanks! Those aren't my favorite because of the raw sugar grains inside, but locals love 'em!

I gotta say it's cheaper to eat out:) no cooking and no clean up and the price is right!! I gotta say( allways great food 🍲🍛 🍤🍜🍡ty for sharing with your subscribers) I 💕your vlogs. l miss seeing you and Mark together 😢
@CourageousKitchen7 жыл бұрын
Hey Sierra, thank you for the comment. Yes there's lots of value in eating out here, but we pay the price later with our bodies and the environment. In Thailand there's a generation of kids who can't cook or know little about eating healthy for those reasons. People on youtube get extra excited about street food, but like everything else it's a balancing act! PS - I'm also missing Mark, Ying, and Micah at the moment, but look forward to seeing them in a few weeks.

It feel like it's been forever since I've been back to that place!!.. I live in the US now, but in the last six year I've been trying to go home at least once a year!!.. ps keep up the good work man you doing Thai foods some justice!!
@CourageousKitchen7 жыл бұрын
+Ben Sengsri that's cool that you can come back so often. Are you noticing all the changes when you're back? Seems like there's a huge food boom at the moment. I'd love to do more vids here like during durian season or finding a coconut factory or something to visit while there. I'm glad you like the video, thanks!
@bensengsri67927 жыл бұрын
Yeah I definitely notice the change, a lot of things have changed since I left thailand when I was 13 years old, not in my 30 every time I go home it's a whole new experience!!.. and the foods is definitely something I missed a lot there's nothing like the taste of home!!.. and I definitely been thinking about doing my own vlog video I want to show people Thailand from my perspective

I love night markets in Thailand, always fascinated by the numerous choices and flavours of each stall. haven't been visiting thailand for years. time to visit soon. I've heard that the government has been demolishing night market in touristy side of bangkok. sigh isn't it loosing its essence?
@CourageousKitchen7 жыл бұрын
Yes, you've got to get back. No, it's not losing it's essence, despite some occasionally sensational headlines there's still plenty of great eating to be done!
