Course Vlog

The final round of the 2024 Southeastern Spring Swing has arrived in a state where I have never played before: West Virginia. Our venue is quite a good one: the Sugarwood Golf Club in Lavalette just outside of Huntington, WV’s second largest city.
That’s funny… second. I’ve been saying that word a WHOLE LOT on these spring break trips. In FIVE STATES, now, in Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, and Indiana, I have scored an 80, but have not broke it. This is my last chance this year. It’s a 70.7 Rating/131 Slope, so it won’t be easy, but four of the five states that I played in that I mentioned where I shot 80 had courses harder than that. Make this the one round where I break my curse! 👍🔥⚔️

I live in Huntington and play Sugarwood regularly. It's a nice course with a decent amount of diversity in slope, bunkers and water, and trees. I hope you enjoyed it.
