Hi dear! On this channel I will share my journey with you how NOT to die from anorexia... I am still alive by the grace of God. I have suffered from all kinds of eating disorders since 31 years (!!) now. It is a miracle that I am still alive! And though I seem to be 'at my last end', I will keep trusting that I am still alive for a reason. One of which is to share my story with you. I will give all I have to give as long as I keep breathing. And I hope that you can use it for the better to prevent you and/or your beloved to suffer as much from this disease as I have. Lique, do not focus on the negative outcomes that could be. Our brains our powerful and do create reality. It's good for you to give up control here, you must trust others as you trust yourself and God. Like Alan watts said, by giving up control, we gain power. You are not giving up your power, only giving up control. God makes the impossible, possible. All of the hardship is only to build you up. Blessed are those who suffer, because suffering is what drives us to change. God doesn't fix the cracks because he wants the light to shine through them. Psalm 22, God will never abandon you. Angelique, so glad to hear that finally you will get the help you deserve. I send you a big hug, and much love. It is so true that the unknown is the scariest thing... some years ago I took classes to become a yoga teacher (actually I am a doctor, but I wanted to to both) and I remember that one of our teacher told us "some poses need strenght and focus, other poses need you to completely let go of control otherwise you will literally fall on the ground". It was such a simple but mindblowing realisation for me and for many others to find not only that this was absolutely true (we fell hard on our asses so many times!!) but how this applied to many other aspects of life. That realy stuck with me. Still to this day, when I feel that my desire to control is too strong and extreme, and I panic, I remember that quote and just let go. I remember the many times that letting go has already worked in the past. We think that control saves us...then we think that letting go can be harmless, but it's more than that. Sometimes letting go is MANDATORY in order to succed and survive :) and it's beautiful when that happens. Beautiful, gentle, liberating. Wishing you all the best, sweet creature :)

Your strength and courage is admirable Lique. Going through the examinations and hearing those facts out loud about yourself and what "could" happen to your body (in the worst case scenario must have been really very difficult. Then to hear your parents creating arguments even about what should happen to you if the worst should happen is pretty soul destroying. Bless you sweetheart. I hope you'll soon be at the hospital, despite it not being a specialist Eating disorders unit, hopefully it will get you through the early phases of recovery. The staff will be trained to help people who are distressed and anxious and be able to sit an listen to and guide you through the most difficult times and just keep an eye on your physical state as you re- feed. Once you begin to get regular nutrition and improve your health Once you get past a certain BMI things will become easier I promise..... You will be able to think more clearly, feel better physically and move further away from the scary"worst case scenario" dilemmas. You will find your personality coming back bit bit and find eating less anxiety provoking and more natural. Your blood sugars will be more stable and you can move further away from all of the really scary physical dangers and concentrate on planning a few fun things to do in the future when you will have the strength and energy. Please sign the papers and relinquish the control for now, it's not forever. Just to see you through the storm and into sunlight. I'm so glad you can fllm your channel at the hospital and take us with you for support!!!!!! Trust the process. It can't be any worse than the daily torture you're going through right now. I've read a few books written by people that have recovered and watched recovery youtube channels- they too found it scary leaving their ED identity behind but have found so much freedom and joy in discovering what they are like as a person without the ED. I'd like to speak words of hope to you Lique! Over a year ago I was i a similar headspace, barely surviving on a day to day basis and facing critical physical state. It hadn't anything to do with eating disorders or mental health treatment but I had to choose either I undergo a risky and complicated surgery and take this chance to maybe get better, without any warranties and knowing I will have to give up all control and my life will never be the same and knowing I had to leave all the "safe" although very low quality life OR stay in what I knew well and die. It was so scary to make that decision and go through the whole process but here I am on the other side and telling you there is hope even when it seems you won't be strong enough to get through it, it is so worth it and you learn so much from the struggle itself. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and praying for you!

It’s awful to have your independence taken away, you can do a lot to help yourself. I’m hoping you’ll find the strength to help yourself. You can change your thinking and start thinking positive Lique, start eating more, and let go of your eating disorder. The things you mentioned that could happen to you are terrible and you can prevent it by helping yourself. You’re creating this world by not fighting it. Don’t give in and don’t plan for death. Fight for your life and find your happiness! It’s possible and worth it, I know from experience! ❤️❤️❤️

I think for lique maybe a clinic initially will help, to help either give her surgery to fix her intestines or reassure her that it's ok for her to eat food and that it won't hurt her intestines, since I don't know how much of the intestines problem is physical or psychological or both , I can't know, but the doctors will figure out which it is, and I think the doctors helping her uncover that information could help her to be able to recover on her own , it's up to I think her listening and trusting the doctors for her to be able to move on from this. In the last place, she didn't trust the doctors that it was safe to eat sugar syrup, safe to eat so many times a day, safe to eat while someone else is watching you, I think she needs someone else to help her unlearn these fears so she can be confident in recovery alone, I really really hope this new clinic will be able to help her, though they don't specialize in eating disorders, but at least they could maybe help her to regain some strength physically and figure out the situation with her intestines, which both I think are needed for her mentally to help start her recovery process after the initial boost in strength and information from the clinic it's up to her where she'll go from there

I know you are scared but please understand, clinics and hospitals always make you sign off on every possible tragedy that might occur. They are really just covering themselves for legal reasons. Yep, this especially true regarding CPR. The physical trauma of chest compressions when a person's heart stops typically breaks ribs & the more frail a person is, the riskier the situation becomes. The goal is definitely to avoid having to do chest compressions in an end of life scenario. Understandably a terrifying thought.

Hi little lady you are the light to my ❤ today you were so full of hope that smile is contagious. Ntn can prevent your success and we all are always 🤲📿🤲 for U. My life is full of new diagnosis every time I go back to hospital too many to mention the last most recent diagnosis very high cholesterol due to stress relating to My Rheumatoid Arthritis and all because I need replacement surgery in both hips both knees and a lower back spinal fuse has been going on since 2021 after an accident No drs to perform surgery and also covid contributed alot to the already painful life.. your Ardent South african fan lots of love❤

Hey, wat fijn dat het je lukte weer een update te delen! Ik kan waarschijnlijk niet half begrijpen hoe zwaar het voor je is/wordt en hoeveel angst dit alles oproept, maar ik hoop zo dat je weet dat welke gevoelens je ook ervaart, er gewoon mogen zijn en dat je zo enorm sterk bent! Ik wens je enorm veel liefde en begrip van de mensen om je heen en de mensen die voor je mogen zorgen en zelfs de regie tijdelijk (deels) over je gaan hebben. Vertrouw op jezelf, op de kundigheid van deze mensen en last but not least, blijf vertrouwen op God, die altijd bij je is en waar je altijd naar toe mag gaan met wat dan ook, hoe groot, klein, positief of negatief ook, hij luistert naar je en wil je troost bieden en nieuwe kracht geven. Over 3 maanden mag ik waarschijnlijk de behandeling voor mijn eetstoornis afronden en ik had dit zonder mijn geloof denk ik nooit gekund, dus ik hoop dat je geloof jou hierin ook mag sterken en je de hoop en rust mag bieden die je zo verdient. Nogmaals heel veel sterkte en bedankt voor je mega inspirerende kracht! Veel liefs
