Chad had no redeeming qualities whatsoever and he probably knew this about himself, he even got his own children to lie on the stand for him, what could he possibly have said to a jury to spare his life.

I believe Chad didn’t have it in himself to speak in a room where there were people he knew didn’t believe or want to believe what he would say. Much much different than talking to like-minded people who were there to be impressed by what he’d say.

Isn't it ironic that Lori didn't even have option of death penalty as the mitigation specialist didn't have time. Chad didn't do speedy trial, yet didn't have ONE mitigating fact offered. They couldn't find...NOT ONE.

I've read that Lori didn't have a death penalty trial because she didn't murder the children.

She didn't have the death penalty as Boyce was legally following the requirement of a speedy trial, and the defense atty Archibald stated to the court the mitigation specialist would not have time to do the evaluations within that time period. It has been discussed widely, and well known as a FACT on all channels and news media that this is the reason. Wherever you read, you may want to re- read. Post here a link if you find something that says something different, as such you are referring to, so can help make sense? Remember, she DID get convicted of such!

Prisons here are much nicer than the US. The food must meet health targets and Tv's are in all cells. Each cell has a toilet and hand bowl, and the showers are nearby. Every prison has a hospital facility and Psychiatric Doctors are in-house. There are gymns, swimming pools, sports facilities, and most inmates have the right to do paid work. The goal is rehabilitation.

My brothers been in 2 prisons here in Scotland, none had swimming pools...if they are unfit to work they are locked up 23 hours out of the day!

That case Vinnie was talking about of the Rabbi who hired a hit man to kill his wife was the first live trial I ever watched. I remember it well. I did watch some OJ, too. Don't know what came first...

Prisoners who kill children usually don’t do well in prison. Chad also has an arrogant demeanor, which isn’t going to work for him in prison. We now know he will be away from the general population; he’s going to be on Death Row. Appeals will, of course, be filed, and likely denied. He could file an appeal just for the sentence rather than the verdict, in which case there is always a possibility that his death sentence is changed to life w/out parole. That would put him in gen pop, and day to day life for him there can be tougher than on Death Row.

I think Chad Daybell showed his true colors when the victim's gave their impact statements and Chad did not shed one tear. He sat their emotionless. These are people who a broken hearted that were a part of his and Tammy's family and no emotion on how he hurt them. So weird.

Like he has something worthwhile to preach about after killing his pregnant wife and two precious daughters? These idiots that didn't have Christ in their lives before they killed, didn't attend church, then are in prison for a couple of years and all of a sudden, they become preachers! Blows my mind how they can be allowed to preach God's word to anyone after what they've done.
