This was fun to watch. Just what we hope for when watching a reaction to a favorite artist. This was more of a mini concert appearance for Courtney more than a competition. Standing ovation when she was announced and no one from what I could tell ever sat down throughout her performance. I don't think many, if any other AGT performances ever had this happen. Many people agree with you about being like MJ. Off stage and on stage. She's a beast once the music starts.

I just bumped into this artist with a you tube video notification, that I actually decided to watch. We all know she is a phenomenal vocalist and extremely talented and hard working. After listening to her original song .....my reaction was the same as yours...speechless. I mean what can you say. I decided to check out reaction videos and your was the best. Once again, what can you say to an original from a 14 yr old written and performed like that, Nothing...just enjoy and share it as much as possible. Perfect reaction.

I notice you seem to have more music chops than the average reactor, based on some of your perceptive comments. So you know Courtney has something unique and special. You would do well to see her audition at age 12 on the British Voice Kids, singing Tina Turner (get the full version with the coaches comments, especially will.i.am). How does a 14 year old write, arrange and then perform a song of this caliber in front of a huge live audience as well as an enormous AGT television followers ? When her new album is released Courtney will take the world by storm. I would imagine the list of artists who will want to do collaborations and guest appearances with her will be endless. Can't wait for her music and her tour schedule to be released because she has been on lockdown and endless disagreements like Woodstock being canceled and travel restrictions for recording sessions so many setbacks but lookout she will be a mega star. Thanks for this great reaction QoFy! Courtney has gone on to write many songs-all amazing even though we only heard short TikTok versions of most of them. She also learned to play guitar and some piano during lockdown. She is always amazing and we haven’t even scratched the surface of her talents. Her stage presence also is sensational as you’ve seen. Very perceptive comments, QFR!! You're so right that Courtney is very shy off stage but a lioness once the music starts. Michael Jackson is a great example of someone that was exactly like that. So was Prince and so is Beyonce. We can name many GREAT artists who are some of the best-ever on stage, but are somewhat introverted off stage (at least around people they don't know well). With respect to Courtney making the finals but finishing 6th, another astute comment by you that, although some 1st place winners, like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, became super-successful, there are many 1st placers that never make it in showbiz. Conversely, some of the most accomplished to come out of these talent shows have been non-winners such as Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry, Haley Reinhart, Adam Lambert & Gabby Barrett (American Idol), One Direction & Cher Lloyd (XFactor), Miranda Lambert (Nashville Star), Maren Morris (The Voice), LeAnn Rimes, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears & Christina Aguilera (Star Search) . . . Courtz is in some incredible company of talent show non-winners who went on to be extremely successful. Hey QoFy. Welcome back to the wonderful world of Courtney. Terrific reaction. This is truly an amazing performance by Courtney. The vocals go without saying. Courtney is simply unparalleled in that regard, but the stage presence is just unbelievable. No one dominates a stage like Courtney. She had that audience in the palm of her hand. Can you imagine how great her concerts are going to be with her and the audience feeding off of each other's energy as it just keeps spiraling to higher and higher levels. It will be totally insane. The only reason that Courtney is not already a mega-star is that the release of her debut album of original music has been repeatedly delayed by the lock downs and travel bans due to Covid over the last two years. Courtney is British and the travel ban from the UK to the US was just lifted this last November and Courtney was back in the US working on finishing up her album. The anticipation for this album drop is so high, that the drop will be absolutely epic. This is an original song and it is incredible, but Courtney has said that before Covid, she really wasn't that into the song writing side of things. However, with everything locked down, and all other avenues of creativity basically shut off, she turned to song writing and discovered a true passion for it. No surprise that the original songs that Courtney has shared in that time have been absolutely incredible. Her lyrics are deep and meaningful, and her talent for melodies and hooks is astounding. She is a real powerhouse as a song writer. During AGT, Courtney sang exclusively rock and was fabulous, but as she has shown since, she is so much more. She has shown that she has one of the most beautiful and versatile voices in all of music. She is equally as great across so many different genres including R&B, Funk, Soul and Ballads as well as rock. Nothing is more beautiful than one of Courtney's ballads. She released a four song EP in 2019 that was designed to show her tremendous vocal and style range as well as her creativity. She took recent, massive hit songs, and completely re-invented them as her own. Virtually everyone who has heard them believe she has blown the originals out of the water. I have put the links to the four songs below. You will be shocked at all the things Courtney can do musically. She truly is a generational talent and, to many of us, the true voice of a lifetime. There are established artists who are in the 40s 50s 60s who have never written their own songs they have other people write them for them and they see them and some of her some pretty big names this girl at 14 I'll say that one more time at 14 and my book ready to hit this is hard to handle she's an amazing young lady she is written a couple other songs you need to check out that are original hopefully her birthday is July 6th maybe we get that album out of birthday that she's been working on she did a remake no place like home check it out it's amazing later dude thanks again
