Hi Edygrim. I think this incredible song and performance gets to everyone who hears it.. What a spectacular voice Courtney has. The voice of a lifetime. This performance just rips your heart out. The song itself is so raw and powerful and Courtney sings with so much passion. Then you add the intensity of this incredible video on top of it. If you don't feel the pain and anguish this song and video conveys, then you don't have a pulse. I don't know how many times I've listened and watched this so far, but even when I know what's coming, it doesn't get any easier. What Courtney can do both vocally and visually never ceases to amaze. BTW, I thought the ending with the phone ringing and Courtney answering was brilliant. However, we actually don't know who's on the other end of the line. It's left an open question as to who's on the other end, but it ends a song full of pain and angst with a feeling of hope for everyone that has just gone on this heavy emotional ride with Courtney . 🔥🔥🔥🔥 This is the third original Courtney has released so far this year after 'Breakable' and 'That Girl Don't Live Here'. All have been sensational and there is more to come. You have not yet reacted to these two originals, so I put the links below. It's been mentioned before that Courtney went independent at the beginning of this year and since then, the originals that she has released from her huge original library have been fabulous. Courtney is such a powerhouse as a songwriter, but because she is so spectacular vocally, not enough attention is paid to that other aspect of Courtney's musical genius. Hi Edygrim. Great reaction. If you are looking for something more upbeat Courtney’s second original this year “That Girl Don’t Live Here” is the one for you. Ed has already left the link. I think Courtney will always sing a mix of songs: some rock or upbeat, some ballads, some of whatever other genre she becomes interested in. She is way too talented to stick herself in one box. As you can see she can sing anything and touch you to your very soul. I have a feeling her next release will be a rock or at least upbeat song. She has released three originals so far this year. She has released short clips of other originals that haven’t been released yet. They are all amazing in their own rite. And none of them is anything like the others. Courtney is very creative: in her singing, her songwriting, her vision of what she wants to express. Please react to “That Girl Don’t Live Here” and “Breakable” her other two releases this year. @pplegem You got to let that go man. She never wanted to be like anyone other than herself. People put labels on her and tried to put her in a box of RnR. She loves RnR, but she also loves lots of genres. Mostly she just wants to make her own music different than what's out there. Give her a chance to do that. She can't do what others want. Only what she knows and loves.
