When Howie Mandel said Courtney was from a different era, he was spot on. I'm 65. I grew up with the best rock (IMO), blues, Motown, country. My family thinks I'm crazy, but hubby is from 50s era, my kids from 80s. Like Courtney said "People don't get me". 🙄 She is my favorite of all time. Better than Robert Plant (can't believe I'm saying that).

Yes it's definitely an improvement! You did the best you could with the poor audio source. In a comment, I actually suggested that Courtney mux the audio on her laptop with a video of herself (something like what you came up with), then post it to her KZbin channel. That would preserve the quality of the original audio (at least until KZbin servers re-encode everything). I'm not sure if she's allowed to do that though. In case she somehow stumbles over this post, the command to mux the video with audio using the free ffmpeg utility, is: ffmpeg -i videosource.ext -i audiosource.ext -c copy -movflags faststart output.mkv (where ext stands for the extensions of the video and audio files) This will copy the video stream from the video source and the audio stream from the audio source as is, without re-encoding and store it into a mkv container. (I have no doubt you know this command as well).
