She recorded this reading at home without anyone around. In that situation she could've re-recorded it and practiced it as often as needed. This (final) recording was chosen to be heard by millions of people, but contained errors. Here are the main ones (imho): 'incorrect 1': 2:54 "narcisists who only appreciate things when they're ALONE, I'm too sensitive". As if 'they're" refers to the narcisist he supposedly was......Correct version straight from the letter: "when they're GONE", referring to the things! 'incorrect 2': "than he goes on to say personal things TO ME that are none of your damn business" > The only line she can possibly be referring to is 'I have a goddess of a wife who sweats ambition and empathy', which is written ABOUT her not TOWARD her. The lines afterwards about Francis are indeed possibly considerable as 'personal', but only consists of 3 sentences, again about her not addressed to her. 'incorrect 3': " I HAD it good...". In reality the note shows "I HAVE it good". The consequences of these 'errors' are quite big in how they paint a different picture. Note that the note wasn't publically known then and - either willingly or unwillingly - she created a tone of the letter, which does not agree with the letter. Also the suggestion by MTV was made - again either willingly or unwillingly - that she read the letter live amongst fans outside on that sad day, which again paints a totally different picture. The letter is addressed to Boddah, his 'imaginary friend'. It's content factually expresses a discontent with his musical career and desire to end it. He signs the note off with his full name and only after this 'end' some lines about Courtney and Francis are written in a different tone and writing. Might be some things to consider. Kind regards!

It was Journaling a letter to stop making music wi5h nirvana possibly..I have a book of his journals and he wrote a lot of lists and a lot of letters to people that he n3ver sent. They were still in the notebook and journaled random stuff quit a bit, probably just to write.

@Nirvanaisbetterthenyoufr Жыл бұрын
People need to understand that tho Kurt was a good person he was also a bad one. To leave behind his wife and daughter is selfish. I know Kurt was silly and happy sometimes but that doesn’t give him the right to do that to his family. You clearly don’t get the pain she went through. When people kill them selves and your grieving you get sad but you also get very angry. She’s not selfish.
