Woodchester was a great place for a photo walk! Reccomend a location in your local area (no matter where you are in the world!) for an interesting photo walk that may inspire other photographers! Thanks for watching. 😊

That boathouse was awesome but the tree at 6:18 was my favourite. I am a sucker for a gnarly old tree after all😜 Great video as always🖖

I got so excited when I saw that tree 😂 I was quite over tired at that point and the light was dropping fast but I couldn't miss the opportunity. Thanks very much David! 🖖

Another fantastic video and photos! I am not sure which photo is my favorite. 🤔 I love the gnarly tree photo, but I am also drawn to the photos of the boat house. Oh and then we have the Mallard ducks! Tough call! 😀

A fantastic place to walk around! I'd say I only managed about half of the area as well that day. Keen to explore the other half! The boat house facinated me too, I can see myself going back there in future as the seasons change to see what other shots I can get. Thanks so much for watching Adrian, hope you had a great weekend 👍

Looks. Lovely location especially in Autumn I presume the mansion is not accessible for a wander. Loved your first two images and the one of the little house great colour work

By the time I'd wandered over to the mansion there wasn't anyone around to ask if I could explore inside. Perhaps another time, it looks as though it could be interesting! Glad you liked the images, David. Thanks very much.

Have landed here from KZbin recommendation. Happy for it because the video is awesome. What a beatufyul place. If it was here (Spain) it would be full of trash, for sure. So tiring. If you visit that pond again pay attention because it seems to be a perfect place to find a kingfisher. Regards.
@CourtneyVictoria2 жыл бұрын
Oh welcome to the channel haha! 😁 I wonder if they have people to maintain this location or maybe people are just very considerate because it is actually very clean. It's such a shame when a beautiful place is ruined with trash. I'll definitely keep that in mind! A Kingfisher would be a great shot. Thanks for watching!

Afer a minute oir so I had to stop the video to see where it was.. interesting looking place and somewhere I can use my NT crad to park I assume? Not that far from me either. I will contest your shakiest hands in creation statement... mine have and always been terrible, lol. Like the way you compile your videos, it flows along at a nice pace and even when doing bits to camera the b-roll is always to the point. I liked the "chaotic pond"... it needed a pano too though I thought? Another enjoyable watch. atb Al

The path to the boathouse - great shot, and the one over the water of it (towards the end of the vid) too. That’s an interesting place for a walk around, I suppose a similar one in my neck of the woods would be a place called Dunham Massey, although it isn’t abandoned!

Hi, I discovered this vlog today. You take really nice shots and that location has a wonderful Thomas Kinkade feel which you captured very well. I also have a D750 and I love it. I’ve watched a few of your videos and I enjoy your channel. I’ve just subscribed 🙂.

Great video Courtney! The images by the chaotic pond were so painterly, I loved them, you really captured the mood of the scene beautifully! Autumns here in Edinburgh (Scotland in general) are great, especially compared to how the trees look now in the winter. Keep up the good work!

Interesting place , have spent a lot of time in and around the Cotswolds but never been there. Will visit next time in area. I tend to hand hold most of the time now since switching from Nikon to Fuji. The XT 4 IBIS is brilliant and only use a tripod when absolutely necessary . Liberating not having to fiddle with tripod. Enjoyed the video and photos.

A great place to explore, I'd definitely recommend it to those who enjoy a good walk and nice scenery. Nice, it can definitely be a bit of a pain to set up with a tripod. I don't mind it too much but I think I'm more likely to explore composition ideas when hand held. Thanks Iain, hope you had a great weekend 👍

Hi Courtney. New sub here, attracted by locations I recognise (here and Castle Combe). Woodchester is a great place for walks with a camera. I tried a while back and just couldn't get the shot I wanted of the boat house from the other side with reflection because the shrubs were so overgrown. It's been on my list to go back for a while now. Try Lacock when you get a chance, and it has the advantage of not having that steep climb back to the car park!

Your video inspired me to visit this location when I was passing through the county last week. I spent a very pleasant 2 or 3 hours there - and ended up with some images of the boathouse which are very similar images to yours which shouldn’t really be a surprise to me. The walk back up hill to the car nearly killed me though. I then stopped at Coaley Peak for lunch. My goodness it was breezy up there.

The homes of US Presidents Thomas Jefferson and James Madison are not far from my town. Both are situated on grounds with kept gardens as well as undisturbed old growth forest. Great wandering and photography all year long though I prefer autumn the most.

I am sure you have been asked many times, but I notice you have "VR" turned off on your main lens. For someone who says they "have the shakiest hands in creation", would this not be helpful?
