Some people did not have power or a phone back in 1955. I still remember using a party line four other families used it. I had to count the number of rings to tell which family the call was for. The good old days before all this insanity.

To answer the question about war footage, there were people in the military who whose role was to strictly get footage of stuff for historical purposes to use for things like the news, documentaries, and probably to use for other military purposes.

i agree with pixelpro 4000 way to much talking and not enough listening, we want to hear your comments which is important but when you talk and the video is talking sometimes we can't hear either one. so just stop the tape and give your opinion or if it's just commenting on their clothes or haircuts is ok .this video is long for a reason and very important information that is very serious about both of them other than that we appreciate your effort

Ok three things: the volume of the video is now a little too low. The background graphics with the moving lines is very annoying. And last move the mouse cursor to a corner instead of sitting in the middle of the screen. Keep it up the good work.

Great choice of source video 👍 This is going to be great! Can't hear the audio of the video very well. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just sayin' Maybe pause the video to comment and chat. You MAY miss important/pertinent info by talking over the video. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just sayin' Sigh. It's frustrating watching/listening to you missing the answers to your questions by talking over the interviews and dialogue. I don't know if they mentioned it in the documentary but in Bird's senior year, Indiana State made the NCAA tournament for the first time in the school's history and were 33-0 headed into the championship game against Michigan State.

Yeah I think y’all totally missed that ISU was 33-0 going into the final game. The issue people have with pausing isn’t that it happens often. It’s when people pause a lot for a long time. That’s what annoys people. If you pause for 10-20 seconds to comment on something, cool. It’s when it goes on for 40 seconds or over minute.

I live near where LB grew up. I can understd his way of thinking very much. A lot of people from this area think like him. He played ball against my younger brother. Basketball in these parts of the state has a whole different meaning. Some states go from basketball to baseball to soccer to football but here it’s basketball summer winter spring and fall. Bird mastered the game like few ever have. He gave his life to it and then to the Celtics.

Bird is the goat. Took an unknown college team that never went anywhere before and after and took them to a 33-0 record. Then rookie year took a 29 win celtics team to 61 wins. With the greatest turnaround and did it without having parish, McHale, anige and DJ

Its been over 40 years since Bird and Magic began their rivalry and even someone who is a little over half that age and who does not follow basketball like me knows how intense it was and have watched this documentary, so I can see them talking about it for another 60 years.
