Metro Boomin hells no because he wouldn’t and for simple reasons. He isn’t able to do what we need in midfield. Benzema a better version of firmino what a joke. Benzema has been brilliant and his goalscoring is back however he isnt similar to firmino just because hes a CF. Firmino is all over the pitch linking up play, defending at LB, RB, clearing crosses, dribbling past men for fun in the midfield, is seemingly impossible to tackle with his hold up play and has no interest in the limelight. He doesn't care whether or not hes scored in a game where he didnt need to but when liverpool arent quite finding their flare hes always the one to step up and create something magical which is why hes broken the deadlock more than any other liverpool player. At home where he knows liverpool are comfortable he generally drops back and plays mostly as a CM to control the tempo of the game. I don't care how good Benzema is, firmino is incomparable

He tried to turn him into a proper midfielder, but Coutinho simply doesn't have the energy level to play in a Klopp midfield. Klopp gave up on the idea of him ever playing there--Brazil tried him there in the WC, and Tite admitted that it left Brazil open. He most likely would have been rotated with the players in the front three, which I don't think would have made Liverpool better.

The way he left was pretty shitty, I agree with that, but before he left in the premier he got 7 goals and 7 assists in 14 matches which is a remarkable return and even in champions league before he left he scored a hatrick so without a shadow of a doubt he is one badass player.
