Dude... just out of curiosity, what are those programs you are recording on??? I use some simplistic shit. I have a Boss Br-800 DR and I thought it was pretty decent. That was until I see that it is now legal for whatever fucking sorcery is going on in your bottom left window! I have to say it both excited and made me feel out of date, so in a confuse state, I punched a birdfeeder. Now you may read this comment and think "Psh, no one has a bird feeder", BUT THAT ISN'T IMPORTANT! What program is that? Great job on the remix, btw...one of my faves.

SeptimusCain Fuck that birdfeeder in the face! I do all my recording with Reaper and sometimes FL Studio as a plugin if I'm doing synthy stuff. The guitars in this song I believe are a layering of some freeware amp sims and cabs plus my PODxt, the lead tones are definitely POD stuff. The drums are Steven Slate. :) The bass guitar also ran through the POD, but I don't think I'd do that again.

Amp and cab sims are just audio plugins that digitally mimic the preamp and poweramp stages of an amplifier. Reaper and FL Studio are recording programs. Steven Slate 4.0 Platinum is a sweet drum plugin, though it's pricey. For a good 1-2-3 digital guitar tone (and assuming you have a hardware interface to record your guitar, I use a Scarlett 2i4), Google stuff by Mercuriall. Specifically: Greed Smasher Modded JCM800 Mercuriall Cab That will get you will a highly serviceable guitar tone in no time. Just load up the plugins in that order and go to town.
