Thanks for your easy “Farther Along” 😀 love that gospel song. Now me and my Katie Ann will sing it together for the first Sunday Special we’ve ever attempted. All my wife has to do is stand and look perty and sing. I gotta make sure that guitar tut you showed me will sound good enough. So say a prayer. I think Psalm 100? Says to practice your instruments of harp and strings diligently? We gotta put on our best we can for our Holy King when we’re in His Holy Court. I have bad rheumatism, especially in my hands and fingers, so I can’t play like I used to be able. My daughter was always the one who took to singing and playing for our church and The Lord. She has since joined the USCG last late winter and met a guy who isn’t equally yoked . She is stationed only hour and a half from hone here, yet she never comes home on her 3 days off each week. So that also means she isn’t in church with us anymore and her guitars haven’t been out her cases since she net this guy. I brought her up right. My wife and I gave her our all. She never had to play junk instruments. I would go broke some months so she could have the best Taylor’s to play on. She wasn’t a fan of the Martins. Not sure why. I like the way a Martin ages and gets a better sound as it gets older. She was great and had the voice of an angel , well…they’re men. I’ll say the voice of a spring songbird. It’s been a loss to our worship service on Sunday mornings. I’m afraid she’s backsliding like so many of her generation. Pray for us as a family please. And thank you for making the Farther Along video. Now this “Holding my Hand” song will be on my list to try with my wife and guitar. Jesus is the Way…new mercies for us each morning….Praise God!

I'm not much of a teacher, but I can try. I'm pretty sure I can show you the left hand (chords) but not sure I can explain my right hand (strumming) because I play more of a broken rhythm / accent picking and I just do it. I've tried to teach before and it really makes me have to think about what I'm doing and according to my wife that's not my strong suite..LOL But yes, I'll try to get a video up.
