Covid & Flu Masks - Increasing filtration

In this video, I'm demonstrating how you can possibly increase the effectiveness of a reusable/washable mask. These masks are popular on sites like eBay, Amazon. They're typically sold with or without a PM 2.5 filter. The cloth mask itself and the PM 2.5 are designed for catching particles larger than viruses. If you work in a factory or highly populated area, you may want more protection.
(If you can't order a reusable mask online, you can make your own at home. I found some good how to videos on youtube.)
The scarcity of certain products has a lot of people turning to vacuum bags. This is because of the price, availability and effectiveness of the material. One bag can make several filters and one filter may last several days, depending on usage. Most vacuum bags are rated at 95% or more filter efficiency vs. 85% for the PM 2.5 alone.
Look for reviews on Amazon etc, when buying your bags. I found several specific reviews about making filters.
**It is important to use any filters with a cloth barrier between it and your airways. Sew in a pocket or double up mask material.

Recommended to use a thin cloth to separate the filter from your mouth/nose. If you can use a needle/thread/Velcro or glue etc, I would suggest altering your mask to add a pocket.
