I have been a participant in the Covidence survey since its inception. I am going to post several comments here. The first is - why why why were children given these vaccines?

This is not (as Professor Martineau says at the start) Covidence work. It's a meta-analysis of national-level studies, on which a member of the Covidence team has worked independently. Your questions need to be addressed to those who ran the underlying national studies.

@@dianaw1242 Since Professor Martineau (whose information I trust and value) passed this on, is it possible for our comments and queries to be passed on to the meta-analysis via the Covidence group?

Where is the data/references to support the stated hazard ratios?

Why do we not get stats for partially vaccinaed? Actually, the UK post vaccine surveillance has been abysmal, but Covidence should have asked the question and provided the data on post vaccine (all levels) outcomes.

He says at the beginning that this data has nothing to do with the Covidence Study, but I agree that the data presented here is ridiculously incomplete. They must have compared partially vaccinated to totally unvaccinated, broken the data down into different ages etc. He presents one slide saying more people who were completely vaccinated had adverse outcomes, then on the next side says adverse outcomes were prevented by vaccination, with no explanation of this contradiction. What a complete waste of time!

This presentation leaves me with more questions than answers. In particular where is the data for the other age groups and do they show the same trend. The hazard ratio decreases for those 75+ decreases for those people who had 4 doses fewer than recommended to a ratio lower than those with 2 doses fewer than recommended. No explanation of this or have I missed something.

I also have the query about the 75+ decrease with less than 4 doses

Is the COVIDENCE UK still happening as I haven't received any surveys just recently to complete?
