I request a thorough investigation into this incident, including but not limited to: 1. A review of the full body camera footage from Officer MacDonald and any other officers present. 2. An assessment of the training and cultural practices within the Aston police force that may have contributed to this incident. Furthermore, I urge you to take concrete steps to address the apparent cultural issues within the Aston police force. This may include: 1. They will refuse. However there's a way round the rules. 1. Make a crime report of an assault. You can even name the officer in this case. Do it online 2. Do nothing for a week 3. Then ring up 101 with the report reference number, and as for the crime reference number. Not the same thing. There won't be one because creating a crime for it triggers a whole mess the police don't want to deal with. 4. With no crime reference number, you now make the complaint about fraud. Yes fraud for not recording the crime. Officers have gone down for this. A couple of them in Kent. 5. Wait a week. 6. Then follow up and ask if the officers have been reported to professional standards by other officers under section 10 of the police code of ethics. If not, that's a second complaint.

@@Ken_oh545 . Due to the presumption of innocence everything that AB did was lawful, the Police do not decide guilt or penalty. If the Police are of the opinion that he was performing an unlawful act then they should have arrested and charged him, but that didn't happen did it. If you believe that AB was undertaking hostile reconnaissance then I suggest that you jog down to the Police Station and while you are licking boots you can make a complaint against AB.

You, and the Police , have no evidence that suggests such an intent and so perhaps you could deal with what is in front of you rather than jump to conclusions..... You wrote that he was "invited" to explain his actions. Could you tell us under which statute, rule or regulation a member of the public is under any obligation to speak to Police or to explain their actions, especially when 'invited' to do so, which would have zero legal backing as an invitation is not a lawful requirement or demand.

Yeh i feel sorry for the good coppers, these bad cops cause sooo much damage in terms of trust and respect from the public, i think most people have a default genuine respect for police, even just as humans not even police, then they experience situations like this either personally or hearing other peoples bad interactions and it causes a complete loss of trust and respect which is unfortunate for the guys doing good policing. Ultimately the good cops need to start weeding these types out themselves.

The whole station is collectively responsible. It looks like a station gone rogue. There was much misconduct going on, but one thing stood out. After the search and detainment, they put you in handcuffs to prevent you from recording. That alone should be a criminal case for false imprisonment and civil liberty violation. Please sue them and don’t settle without a public apology.
