Very well done! I was expecting voices, so I was taken aback by the chatter noises, however as I kept watching I found that the chatter really suited the style of characters and the premise of the comic! I'm really impressed with the musical score as well. You have got quite the talent :] I can't wait to see Act II!

Oh my. I was actually quite 'meh' when I first saw the comic... But I totally feel it now - with the voice effects! It just... left me hollow inside. It's so mysterious and different.

Thank you very much. Yeah voices would be cool, but tough to find the right people, and organize it all. I feel there was a greater risk of people not liking voice acting as well, and that would have been a shame considering how much effort it would take.

WHOA, that's increadible! Specially the sound effects at the action parts, it really brought it to life! *o* The only thing that I thought is that Atli could have a more cat-feline-like voice, like Jin has this birdy-like noises as a voice. But other than that, well done! Really want to see the Act II animated as well =)

Thanks so much! It took about a week, most of the free time I had went towards it. I would say about 30 hours to do it all. I'm hoping Act II will take less time, but I have a feeling it won't.

This is amazing! Wonderful work. I love the comics and love the way you put this together! I especially like the sound you chose for Jin. The sounds for the characters remind me a little of playing Animal Crossing. =3

Atli's voice is from some of the character chatter in the N64 game, Mischief Makers. Jin's I'm keeping a secret until a later video, but it is a sound that was slowed down, and cut into pieces, then rearranged.

Hahah, it produced a different atmosphere than I expected too, hahaha. I thought the video would mostly contain darker toned music, but as I was putting the footage together, I realized that the lighter music worked better because of Atli's quirkiness. But we know, that's all gonna change in the next act.

Thank you! No I was just imitating a text chatter similar to some video games like Okami, since it is a lot faster and easier, and allows me to keep people immersed by not having to reduce the music volume.

It was all edited with Sony Vegas Pro 11, except for the glass shattering effect on the title, which was done in Adobe After Effects.

I was going for an Okami type chatter. That's one of my favorite games, and tried hard to find sounds that matched the characters, but also weren't annoying to hear.

Well, Atli's voice was easy. They are the same sounds taken from friendly characters in the N64 game, Mischief Makers. Jin's voice was trickier. But I don't want to reveal just yet how I did his, because it's pretty hilarious who's actual voice I used to create it. I might do a Behind The Scenes video some day.

Ah ok. You gotta use the Mask feature in the "Event Pan/Crop" window. Allows you to easily hide parts of a video or image.

I don't think I want to do voices for these videos. I'm very picky, so it would be really difficult to find just the right voices for the characters. I've seen way too many good things have bad voice acting done with them as well. If it were fully animated, then I would definitely do voices.
