I've always liked the scene with Spike and Jet when Jet admits that what's going on is too big for them. I'm sure why. It's probably the music and the fact that it's rare for the heroes of a story to flat out admit that they're in over their heads and it would be better off if they just dropped it. It really showed a kind of...vulnerability for Spike and Jet. I don't know

When I saw this scene for the first time in the movie after I finished the show, I was really impressed with how it all comes full circle, with Laughing Bull giving the audience one last piece of wisdom. A true shaman.

Spike was always ahead of all of his opponents due to his view of life and death. Although Vicious represented the challenge Spike endured in the "dream", Vincent was the first person that Spike really put fear into him. Spike always seemed to me like he viewed "reality" as unrealistic and almost boring in a sense. Vincent was the "worst nightmare" that he felt while being asleep.
