So funny story about the set of Lonesome Dove. It actually became the focal point for most of Calgary's film industry up into the 2000's. From Legends of the Fall to the Dead Man's Gun, the Lonesome Dove set (as it was actually called) was THE place to go if you wanted to shoot a western and led to Alberta becoming a popular location for "frontier" locations with Jericho and Heartland being great examples, even if they weren't shot on the set. So not only is Bret responsible for Calgary's wrestling industry, he's also indirectly responsible for their film industry as well. Truly the greatest Calgarian.

Speaking of Knackery, unclean and dangerous brown water.. Flint, Michigan still hasn't had clean water since April 2014 and just recently(about a month ago, to be more precise) a 6 year old boy, Josiah McIntyre, from Lake Jackson, Texas contracted a brain eating amoeba(Naegleria fowleri) and died(September 8th, to be exact) from the city's tap water supply... I truly hate it here in the states.. Signed, a bloke from Iowa(the #7 highest risk state out of em all with nearly 1,000 new cases per day, there are only 8 states out of 50 that are in the red zone. We were #1 at one point not too long ago, gotta get the records in somehow...)

I'll always remember my Dad owning the original run on VHS setting in our cabinet.
